I got my second ear piercings at Diane’s Design. Diane was a very nice and personable woman. It was an overall pleasant experience. She uses numbing cream to limit discomfort. It was easy to schedule an appointment. She was even able to fit me in for an appointment the day I called. My only issue was that I couldn’t pick the earrings that I desired because she was unable to locate the gun required for that size. Overall I love my new piercings! 🙂

My daughter was very very nervous to get her ears pierced. One day at 4:45p she decides, “Now is the time.” I called Diane and she said she was closed but actually was stopping back at the shop and if we could be there in 10 minutes she would do it. Diane couldn’t have been kinder, more patient, and encouraging. What an amazing person!!! Thank you, Diane!!

Got my third piercing on my ear lobes here. I had a pretty bad morning trying to get my permit, but after two trips to DMV, they denied the documents I provided. My mom decided to treat me to a pick me up and it worked. The staff at Diane’s are very personable and upbeat and greeted me warmly. Even the fellow customers were outgoing with me. One even offered to hold my hand while I got the piercing . I declined, but we told each other stories throughout the piercing process. I will definitely come back (just not for another piercing though. 3 is enough )

So I wasnt sure if I wanted to leave a review or not I got my hair cut monday but I really need to share my experience. It was the worst I have ever gotten from any salon I have ever been to. It all started before my appointment. Diane called me that morning but was actually trying to call another client the entire phone call she was completely mixed up, didnt know which of her clients she was even talking to and was telling me she was going to have me come earlier when my appt was less then a hour away then told me the wrong time anyway. Im saying all this because immediately after the call I said to myself maybe trying this place isnt a good idea. I tried it anyway. I needed a pretty simple haircut nothing special. After I got there I asked several questions about hair and hair products that she didnt seem to know how to answer. You are a hair salon owner I would of thought she would be the best person to ask I was wrong….and the worst of all of it I hate this hair cut….I wanted it all cut right above my shoulders with some long layers in it and that was it. The entire haircut she kept telling me to feel my hair instead of handing me a mirror to actually look at it so that was also pretty concerning. Well after i got home I noticed the back is about a half inch longer then the front of my hair and i have these really really short choppy layers in it they look really bad. Im thinking that happened because she asked if i wanted an angle which i thought she meant she was going to angle the hair around my face not cut big chunks of hair from the side of my head. What sucks is i was thinking I would just wear it up and get it fixed after it grows an inch or so but after i put it up it looks even worse than it does when i have it down. You can see just how short and choppy the front is compared to the back. Its the absolute worst hair cut i have ever gotten. I literally dont even want to look at it i dont know how to even style it its just not good..I now have to go pay someone else to hopefully fix it which sucks even more when I have already paid for a haircut. Lesson learned on my part to not trust people you dont know with your hair but on the other hand she cuts hair for a living and my head looks horrible….I gave it 2 stars because she was nice and I could talk to her I hate getting my hair cut when its like complete silence.
