First time going to this salon and I am extremely pleased! Ivy did my fresh acrylic ombré set nails and she exceeded my expectations, absolutely lovely. Lennett did my pedicure she took her time and did a fantastic job. My experience overall was a delight most definitely will be back! I knew when I first walked into Diamond Nails Salon, I’ve should’ve walked right out. I made an appointment in advanced for myself and a group of friends the day before to the male on the phone and I told what each person wanted to make sure my communication was clear on my end. On that exact phone call, I provided them with my name and phone number. Moving on to the appointment they did not have my appointment nor my friend’s appointment listed, when I got there the male that was working on 6/25/22 at 5:30, assumed my party was already present by pointing out another colored family and was assuming based on my skin color that I was with them. I was utterly in shock and more so embarrassed for that family because they had children. The children did not need to hear, because it was racist from it. Moreover, my friend and myself needed to get out nails done and that was the only location at the time that was willing to take us in. I dealt with it when I shouldn’t. Moving on, my friend gets their feet done. I choose not to because I needed a minute to collect myself together from just that aftermath. That same male told me to go to his station and made a whole scene about how short my nails were and told me that they would hurt. I was very understanding at his point of view, but I need them done and wanted them done. For example, if I chose to pay 100 to do my nails. Just do my nails. I was willing to pay that money, regardless how they turned out. That same male and I went back and forth for a minute. From then on, he refused to do my nails. Once again embarrassed and humiliated, I believe it had something to do my skin color or just he was using my short nails as an excuse or both. Either or what set the tone was that I was prejudge based on the color of my skin, also known as being discrimination. But, once the lovely nail tech name Ivy and the lady with the twins’ daughters (3 kids in total) stepped in and did my nails and made me more comfortable about all this madness. Moreover, those lovely ladies made that whole situation better. I personally am considering going back to have work done on my nails by Ivy. But something needs to be adjusted because that whole situation was disgusting more so I would rather than just happen to me than that to be having to another person.

I called last evening needing a last minute fill. I was nail salon shopping anyways because, though, I love my nail girl, she takes 2 hours . As a busy business owner, myself, it has become difficult for me. I was apprehensive but I decided to just give it a chance. WOW! Iam so glad I did. My nails look great. The salon is super clean and very pretty . I mentioned that i was looking for a new place and i can tell they did everything in their power to see to it that I was happy. The prices are great , they have tons of color choices and seem to be up to date with new trends. Did i mention how friendly the staff is? Even the patrons were very friendly. The vibe was great. I rebooked an appointment and am looking forward to going back!
