Awesome Nail Salon! The Best in Okemos! The nail techs are highly trained and they take their time. They are never rushed. They do an Amazing job and so far have been able to do any nail design we have requested. I have gotten acrylic nails, a fabulous pedicure, and my eyebrows waxed. I would highly recommend them! He didn’t speak English. My nails are too thick and when I told somebody about it she said okay next time we do thinner. My daughter had hers done and asked to have them shortened and she complained because she’d have to shape them over again. For $110 I will not be going back there even my daughter’s nails are too thick noticeably too thick

My mom and I went there to get our nails done. Tina was fine she was a extra pushy and kept trying to sell me more expensive services. It was super annoying. She put too much glue on my nails and then tried to file it off causing me to have two spots where my skin was burning. Athena did my Mom’s nails. She took over 3 hours to do a mani-pedi. The mani was supposed to be gel. The nails came off within 3 hours. When I showed the owner proof using pictures with a date and time stamp; he told me they performed a service and couldn’t provide a refund. My mom lives out of state I have no idea when she will be back for a “redo”/“fix.” I understand Athena is new and still learning, over worked in the healthcare setting where people are new and still learning. We used to practice on each other, can you imagine if medical professionals started practicing on patients? Anyways the owner refused a refund and the customer service was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place even if you’re in a pinch. Because I understand that you are performing a service, however I should not have to pay for the service that wasn’t performed correctly, or at least not full price.

Critical: QualityI asked for a fill, shorten my current set and to change my dip color…. She removed the color, which ok good. Then when I asked if she could make them shorter she COMPLETELY CLIPPED THE TIPS OFF. At that point I said to just finish removing them and that I don’t want them colored because I don’t like my nails painted when they’re completely this short and bare. Didn’t listen to what I asked for. Let me walk off with junk still on my nails from the removal. Horrible service. Bummer because this place is tucked in a corner so I can’t imagine they’re too busy to make sure the clients that come in are happy. Clearly I was upset and she didn’t try to fix the situation. Had a good experience, got a full set of acrylic nails and they came out just how I wanted them to. Very friendly staff, the guy who did my nails even gave a friend of mine and I a tour around the salon. The salon itself is also very clean and nice. Will be back and would recommend!

The nail technician here cut me twice trying to grind my cuticles away with the buffer and made me bleed. My cuticles now hurt even when washing my hands and I’m scared of infection.
