Critical: ProfessionalismI had a not-so-great experience with Austin but my hair itself looks great!! However, I did leave with chemical burns covering my whole scalp. After letting him know that the bleach was burning immediately, it was left on for 1-2 hours longer. After washing out the bleach, he said my scalp “looked a little irritated”, but is clearly VERY burned. I was still asked to pay the full price and the service took over 10 hours. I personally find that absolutely ridiculous. He then said that he might not do my hair again because my scalp is “sensitive”. I have had my hair bleached many times and have NEVER had anything like this happen. I had a not-so-great experience with Austin but my hair itself looks great!! However, I did leave with chemical burns covering my whole scalp. After letting him know that the bleach was burning immediately, it was left on for 1-2 hours longer. After washing out the bleach, he said my scalp “looked a little irritated”, but is clearly VERY burned. I was still asked to pay the full price and the service took over 10 hours. He always gets my color EXACTLY RIGHT, even when I ask for crazy stuff like color correcting my 4 inches of new growth and making it match my hair that has had a myriad of color processes performed on it.Have I mentioned how affordable his services are either? The only other time my hair has looked close to this beautiful I paid 3x as much and was in the chair for 6+ hours.
