I went into Diamond Art Nails in Rock Hill to have nails removed that I had put on out west for a wedding I attended. I just wanted to have a basic manicure done to clean up my cuticles and have my nails nice and tidy. The young man was very nice and polite, but was watching a soccer game on his phone the entire time. He did not ask what shape I wanted. He just assumed I wanted them square. When I asked him to please shape them into a more rounded oval shape, he barely filed them. I left with them still rough and had to use a file on them at home. He talked me into having a clear gel polish put on for them to be shiny and nice looking. He said it would last longer than a regular polish.I spent over $50 on a terrible manicure! I will never go back! As you can see by the picture, the polish has cracked and peeled. It started two days after having it done. And now at the time of the picture, it has been four days. My nails look horrible! What a total waste of money!

Where do I begin… for starters they’re always late opening. Then they don’t honor appointments, Like what’s the point of scheduling appointments when you’re gone service who you want when you want. Then they are RUDE!! If I come in an request for my nails to be a certain way, don’t try to talk me into getting something else. Then they just charge you whatever they feel like. I went in for a polish change the lady told me $36 but charged me $58 then on top of that tried to convince me that my payment didn’t go through after I had already called the bank and the bank representative told them that the payment went through. And to make matters worse the man in the shop tried to write down my card number on the appointment book at the front desk. And they aren’t very sanitary either. I had been going there for a while, I even went back after I had an issue with them giving me a toe fungus. But after this I’m definitely not going back. They lost me for good.

The actual pedicure was great. I kind of feel bad only giving a 3 because the work was done well. I decided to give a 3 rating because each of us were charged $90-120 a person for a pedicure. I would have appreciated if they would have let me know how much the add ons they did were before they did them. They didn’t mention they were additional costs at all. I assumed, because they built up one of my nails, that I would receive an additional charge for that but nothing was mentioned and no price was discussed. That extra charge was $20. For one nail. Then there was an additional $15 charge for gel nail polish (I understand gel is extra but I would prefer just add it in to the cost of the $60 pedicure and call it a $75 pedicure. No one uses any other kind of polish anymore do they?) Anyway, great work overall, just communicate better and watch the prices.

My step daughter and I went and got gel full sets with Halloween designs and my step daughter asked the guy to cut her nails shorter and he did not and charged 95$ for them. I should not have to pay when she clearly said she wanted them shorter. And then mine are very short and the guy who done mine charged me and extra $5 mid long nails. My nails are not mid long, yes the nails look good and the designs are fabulous but you should give us what we ask for and not what you want to. And then charge us for you not wanting to listen. I’m very upset, I’m very upset I got charged an extra$5 and my nails are super short. Communication would make this place much better. Listen to what your customers want!!!!!

Asked for regular polish. 3 hours later at home my nails are still extremely wet, pretty sure gel was applied instead so I just had to take it all off and re-do at home. I was asked to upgrade to a more deluxe package and my feet still look poorly exfoliated. Not satisfied.

The website and the door says they close at 7:00. I attempted to call before arriving but they just let the phone ring. I arrived at 6:20 and they stated that they were booked. Only 3 customers were there and they were almost finished. Also the open sign still lit up. They refused to take me and were very rude. I typically go there on the regular, but never again. Terrible customer service.

I spent four hours here with a APPOINTMENT! Nail tech was late !!! Also I got lash extensions that was PUT ON WITH HAIRGLUE ! What professional salon does that ? The lashes was off some as I showered ! On my birthday weekend! I spent 235$ here and they will not refund my lashes that fell off with hair glue !
