We paid quite a bit more than we’ve paid in the past for braids at other salons but it was worth every penny! Nadia was professional and did a perfect job. My 10 year old daughter loved getting her braids done here. We paid quite a bit more than we’ve paid in the past for braids at other salons but it was worth every penny! Nadia was professional and did a perfect job. Her salon is also wonderful and very relaxing. My daughter said it was also the best hair wash she’s ever gotten. Nadine is a beautiful and talented hairstylist . She took all her time to do my hair and was so nice with me offering me snacks and drinks . Her salon was clean and neatly decorated. !!!! As soon as I got out of her beauty salon I had so many compliments about my braids . My hair was amazing . It was my first time going there and I will definitely go back. Critical: Punctuality, Quality, ValueI chose this lady based on her great reviews but ended up being very disappointed with the outcome of her service. I requested for clean medium knotless braids and even showed her a picture. What I ended up getting was unclean jumbo braids. Not only did I end up with jumbo braids but it was poorly done. It had hairs sticking out, different sizes, untrimmed ends and to top it all off , she charged outrageous price for the lousy service she provided. I felt duped after friends and coworkers told me how bad the overall braids looked.Contacted this lady about how unhappy I was with the braids which, she decided to refund me partial payment of $100. I told her she only needs to refund $50 so I can take the braids out and get it fix with another stylist. we agreed on the $50 refund instead. The more I looked at braids in the mirror, the more I felt duped and upset.I contacted this lady again to see when the $50 refund will be coming through and she never responded back. I chose this lady based on her great reviews but ended up being very disappointed with the outcome of her service. I requested for clean medium knotless braids and even showed her a picture. What I ended up getting was unclean jumbo braids. Not only did I end up with jumbo braids but it was poorly done. I asked for knotless box braids mid back length and when she was done my braids looked unfinished. My ends were not braided all the way down and weren’t properly sealed. I found Nadine who was kind enough to fit me in the very next day. She replied back right away. Her shop is in her home but it was clean and set up like any other shop. She was professional and so kind. She finished the ends of my hair, dipped them again, clean them up and I was in and out. My ends were not braided all the way down and weren’t properly sealed. I was so self conscious because the ends looked terrible.
