Hamza has been cutting my hair for nearly 10 years. Now and again over the years, I have gone elsewhere while traveling or when in need of an immediate cut and usually end up coming back to him the next month to fix whatever damage was done. He and Bobbie are good people and I’d argue are two of the best hair care engineers in the area.

I’ve been seeing Hamza for 4 years now; my daughters see him as well. The biggest reason I keep going back is that he likes to understand what I want before he will cut my hair. I don’t like to spend a long time with my cuts so I get there with freshly washed hair, and am done within an hour. And it looks good! One of my daughters has difficult hair – quite thick and coarse. He made sure we understood that cutting it short would actually make it harder to maintain. He’s been able to give her a hair cut that is short and layered in a way that doesn’t make it spread out uncontrollable and looks good without doing anything to it.

So impressed!! I have long, thin hair and wanted a change so I decided to get a perm – yes, a perm. After lots of research, I discovered that nobody gives perms anymore and if they do, they seemed suspect. So, I called Bobbie at Destinee and asked if she would and could give me a perm and a cut. She was fabulous. She gave me the most beautiful 21st century perm – nothing like the 1980’s!! My hair is soft and shiny and full of curl – I love it. My daughter went in for a cut and color and Hamza gave her such a beautiful baliage color and cut that my other daughter had Hamza give her a cut and color. Love this Salon!! Will not go anywhere else. Highly recommend!!
