Positive: Cleanliness, Punctuality, Quality, ValueCame to Designer Nails for a gel polish change on my toes & also got gel polish on my finger nails – and, I love it! The nail technician/manicurist was professional, quick, and did an amazing job of shaping my nails for paint. I have never liked my “farm girl” hands so much – and now they look pretty and presentable for an event I’m attending! 🙂 The cost was affordable and the results are well worth it! Came to Designer Nails for a gel polish change on my toes & also got gel polish on my finger nails – and, I love it! The nail technician/manicurist was professional, quick, and did an amazing job of shaping my nails for paint. I have never liked my “farm girl” hands so much – and now they look pretty and presentable for an event I’m attending! 🙂 The cost was affordable and the results are well worth it! Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityA month or two ago I left Designer Nails a glowing review. Prior to my last visit, all of my experiences at this salon were great. However, my last visit was bad enough to overshadow my positive past with them. I recommended this business to a friend and we went to this salon together. And guys, when I tell you how embarrassed I am for recommending this place… I can not even describe the shame… First, my friend got a pedicure and the “foot massage” she received was literally just an older gentleman slapping, punching, and pulling around her feet. I heard the massage before I saw it. I had never gotten a pedicure from this establishment, but if I had, there’s no way I would have let her get a pedicure here. Second, a day after my friend got her nails done here (she got a mani-pedi, I got a manicure as usual), her finger became swollen and infected! And the cherry on top of all of this? This was a manicure she was getting for her birthday and we even told the staff there about her birthday. So you would think, as a beauty salon, they would want to make sure she was looking great for her special day right? Wrong! A month or two ago I left Designer Nails a glowing review. Prior to my last visit, all of my experiences at this salon were great. However, my last visit was bad enough to overshadow my positive past with them. I recommended this business to a friend and we went to this salon together. Critical: Professionalism, Qualityi really wanted to like this salon. robert is super friendly and his work looks good, however my experience with another employee was sub par at best.i came in for a dip powder set, almond shape, mid length. i typically trust that the nail tech will check in about length and carry a general conversation throughout the process, so in sun time i’ll watch the tv or text ppl. i was watching the tv when she made the first clip of the tips, without asking if that was the length i wanted, and both hands were different lengths. i figured they’d grier out a little when they’d be fine. the nail is lumpy, glitter is gritty, and filling is crooked, not even my whole nail is covered on some of them. i had somewhere to be so i paid and left. 56$ down the drainthe entire time the tech was talking to another tech, stopping my nails to pull her mask down to be heard better, causing the process to take an hour and a half for poor quality.Service: Dip powderi really wanted to like this salon. robert is super friendly and his work looks good, however my experience with another employee was sub par at best. …More
