The girls were very knowledgeable and kind. They took the time to give me a tour of the entire place and explained every service that they provide. I did the massive bed followed with a spray tan. I came out of there looking really super dark. Next time I think I would try the bronze or level 2 spray tan rather than the level 3. The level 3 is the darkest and I felt that I looked a little too dark but I did choose it. My first spray tan in all of my 59 years! There are multiple packages and options to choose from. Quite reasonable in my opinion. I purchased the membership. I like that I can put it on hold for the month if I need to and only be charged less than $6.00 which is then credited to my account and I can later use toward lotions and such. Also you always have the option of ending your membership at any point in time. Only been the one time but it sure seems like a great place so far!!

The girls in the Shelton branch are amazing, personable, happy to see you, always make conversation and are smiling. The beds are always cleaned and taken care of and the owner is on top of things if something goes wrong. This establishment is well taken care of and just has great customer service!!

I’ve tanned at desert sun for years and years and the only reason I’ve left is because I moved out of state and there is no desert sun here. The ladies who work there are always professional and nice and I’ve tanned at probably ten different locations around western Washington. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because it’s pricey but you get what you pay for and I like the platinum package and a nice lotion. 🙂

Critical: ProfessionalismI’m frustrated. I would like to start that the majority of the staff workers were absolutely amazing and kind. However, the new management screwed me over. I put my account on freeze. They pulled it up and said it wasn’t on freeze. But it was. They took out 2 monthly payments. I found out about the last and called to get it cleared up. The staff men member was very understanding and wanted to help. They said I’d have to come in and sign a new freeze account. I did. I asked would I be able to tan until it’s figured out and she said of course and that she was very sorry. So I did knowing the manager would give me my days I didn’t use. Then I finally got ahold of the manager and she said she will only add one month and since I tanned the last day of January that counted as my month. So I paid $71 for a nothing.So my s/o called her and she told him we owe her more money. How does that happen? He asked for the corporates number and she would not give it to him. This is so wrong. They took $142 dollars and I got nothing out of it.So they lost a customer and I will be sure to make sure none of my family or friends know about this experience. I do not want this to happen to anyone that I care about. $142 is a lot of money for some people. I will not be going back to this location.I’m frustrated.
