I wasn’t going to leave a review about my poor experience but since they went out of their way to ask for one, here it is. I’ll start with the staff. They were lovely. The two folks at the counter were great, helpful, and kind. However, their assistant manager was wildly unprofessional. While checking in, the person doing that had to ask the manager to lower her voice because she was cackling at a high decibel behind me. When it came to time of payment, the manager insisted they do not honor coupons from their websites, emails, or advertisements flashing within the lobby. When I confirmed with other locations that they do honor them, she was so nasty when she spoke to me. Even when standing at the counter, another tanner said hello and was being friendly. The manager dismissed their existence and the customer told her she was rude to her face. She did not flinch or even respond. I don’t know who’s training your management but she needs a good re-do. Everything else was great. Clean facility, fast service, pleasant staff.

The beds look new and well taken care of. The rooms are clean and private. I had a nice result, no discomfort, plenty of cool air from the fan, not too hot. Side note, there is no commitment required for the membership & you may cancel anytime. That gave me peace of mind, it’s not like a shady gym membership! The beds look new and well taken care of. The rooms are clean and private. I had a nice result, no discomfort, plenty of cool air from the fan, not too hot. This is the worst desert Sun I’ve been to. The girls that work there are super nice, but the owner (I think owner) is very rude. She may have just been a manager, I’m not sure. Long highlighted straight hair, middle aged woman. She always would forget to start the bed and I’d have to get redressed and go back to the front. She would never apologize and constantly put blame on her employees. I only went there because it was the only one in my area. I go to Puyallup now, and they are great!

I LOVE how big this tanning salon is but I am NEVER EVER going here again!! 1.) I wanted to try a spray tan and it came with my upgrade i paid for so this chick I dont know her name but i shouldve known to not get advice from a girl at a TANNING SALON WHO IS WHITER THAN CASPER but no I assumed that she knew what she was talking about since she worked there and boy am I stupid!! She had me do a level 4 spray tan! I paid an extra $10 for bronzer and what not and remember this was and will be the only time i ever do this and so this ^#&$% described what would happen how to di it etc IT DIDNT HAPPEN HOW SHE SAID AND MY HANDS AND FEET WERE ALMOST BLACK AND I EXFOLIATED THE NIGHT BEFORE AND FOLLOWED HER INSTRUCTIONS! They need to have Chelsea from the Desert Sun on Garfield and pacific avenue school these girls and also they need to stop annoyingly pushing more tanning products onto customers! Its so ANNOYING I COME THERE TO RELAX! NOT TO BE HARASSED EVERYDAY TO BUY MORE PRODUCTS! I got my first spray tan ever and it was definitely a learning experience. The girls that were working were friendly and knowledgeable, telling me about the new skin treatments available and helping me to get the best deals possible. The lotions and that I thought were extremely overpriced, but overall it was a good experience. I will be going back soon!
