Peter Derosa is the best and most sought-after barber in the area, and perhaps one of the better barbers in the state. I’m critical of all my cuts, and for years, Pete has been my go-to for every event, vacation, and photo shoot I have.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, PunctualityI have always shaved my own head so I never required the use of a barber shop. Over the past year and a half I started growing my hair out. Every month to month and a half I would try a different barber shop until I found one that I liked. Let me tell you something, I have been to about 10 shops and all I can say is that as long as DeRosa’s Barber Shop is open they will have my business. Everything about the place is top notch. My first time there I walked out feeling great about myself and how I looked. Something I can say I honestly never felt before after leaving some of the other shops in the area. From my first time there I’ve had Kate cut my hair and what can I say, she is an extremely talented barber. I recommend everyone to see Kate. Peter is a very personable owner/barber and great to have a conversation with. I got my dad to go to Peter and my dad says he feels like he did years ago when his favorite barber used to cut his hair before he retired. Every month to month and a half I would try a different barber shop until I found one that I liked. My new favorite barbershop no question! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, you won’t want to leave. These professionals, Kate and Peter, are both very friendly and accommodating. The hospitality of these barbers is unlike any I’ve received elsewhere. My haircut wasn’t rushed, I was comfortable, and ultimately, I felt taken care of. I usually went to Kate, but since she was all booked for a while and I really needed a haircut, I decided to book with Brian. I was nervous at first, since he isn’t as experienced as Kate or Pete. But, after my haircut, you would think he’s been cutting hair forever. He’s super nice, and we had a great conversation as he gave me probably the best haircut of my life. Really nice guy to be around, and really good at cutting hair. As for DeRosa’s as a whole, it’s clean, classy, and it really changes getting a haircut from being an errand, to a whole experience to look forward to. Everyone is very polite and hospitable, and I almost wish my hair would grow even faster so I can come here more often.
