The doctor is fine, but the front staff needs improvement. I played phone tag with them for a week before they just stopped calling me back. I had to show up to the office to get them to send in my prescription. Will absolutely find a different dermatology office.

I had to wait five weeks for a certain doctor (who came highly recommended) and I cancelled clients to allow for the time. I arrived half an hour early to fill out the paperwork and was told at that time they didn’t take my insurance afterall (I had asked when I booked the appointment). I explained I had waited so long and made the arrangements, could I pay out of pocket? No they don’t allow that. The office manager was very patronizing and then (the worst) she pretended to call another office and verify they had appointments and took my insurance. So I actually went to the other office to find she hadn’t called, they didn’t have appointments, they didn’t take my insurance AND their doctor only did cosmetic procedures (she must have picked a name out of a hat). I went home frustrated and disappointed, especially as the appointment was quite important.

I haven’t been in the office for a long time but, they haven’t missed a beat. There was no wait time and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Dr. Sebastian is fantastic and one of the best dermatologists in Northern VA for a reason. He is friendly with a great attitude. I couldn’t have been treated better.

The Staff here are Great! Clean lobby and they had me in a room in a reasonable time. Dr. Sebastian and his team was very reasonable and quick to help treat my Keloids with no hassle and a was able to explain everything to me with no questions to follow. Overall I definitely see myself going there in the future for any other issues involving my skin.

I see Alice Karr who is an NP, and I chose her because I like to see female specialists. Alice has the best bedside manner of nearly any doctor I’ve seen; she’s thorough, never makes you feel rushed, and is so compassionate. I recently had some moles removed and had a difficult time. She and her nurse made sure I knew what to expect, was so gentle and quick, and helped me when I felt sick afterwards. My only recommendation is that after these small procedures a fact sheet is sent home with the patient, reminding them how to care for the spots where moles were removed and what to expect about how it might feel as the lidocaine wears off. Over all, a truly excellent experience here!

There was no waiting, all COVID protections were in place and the staff was warm and welcoming. Dr. Sebastian was thorough, answered all my questions and was direct. My kind of doc! Just saw Dr. Sebastien today who I have seen off and on for 6 years. The office staff was great with very little wait time. Dr. Sebastien was very personable and performed a small painless surgical procedure. A talented professional who I will continue to see.
