ACNE
We will develop multifaceted, individualized treatment plans which will effectively treat your acne and enable you to put your best face forward.
ACTINIC KERATOSES
Actinic keratoses are rough, raised spots on the skin that frequently occur on areas which have had significant sun exposure such as the face, scalp, ears, hands, and upper chest.
ALLERGIC SKIN DISORDERS
Allergic contact dermatitis is caused by contact of an allergen with the skin.
DRY SKIN
Dry skin is extremely common in Colorado because of our climate. Dryness of the skin can cause painful cracks/fissures, itching, and eczema.
DYSPORT®
We use Dysport® to reduce or eliminate the appearance of facial lines and wrinkles.
ECZEMA
Eczema or atopic dermatitis is a common, itchy rash that usually involves the skin in the folds of the elbows and knees.
FUNGAL INFECTIONS
Fungal infections are common and can occur on the skin, mucosal surface, and nails.
HAIR LOSS
Hair loss is a common affliction that occurs with age and affects both men and women. Hair loss (or alopecia) can be scarring, non-scarring, hormone-related, related to a medical illness or auto-immune in nature
INJECTABLE FILLERS
The Restylane® family of products are hyaluronic gels the FDA has approved to smooth facial wrinkles and folds.
KELOID SCARRING
A keloid is an excessive amount of scar tissue that extends beyond the location of the initial scar/injury. Keloids typically occur on the head/neck and upper trunk and are a common complication of piercings and tattoos.
MELASMA AND PIGMENTED LESIONS / Q-SWITCHED ND: YAG
Some pigmented lesions that are too difficult to remove with IPL as proved by previous treatments may need to be removed with a more powerful laser, like the Q-Switched Nd: YAG.
MOLES
Moles are common and can vary in color from flesh-colored or pink to dark brown or black.
PEDIATRIC DERMATOLOGY
At Dermatology Specialists we diagnose and treat all of the common dermatologic ailments that affect children including, but not limited to, birthmark/mole checks, warts, molluscum, acne, and eczema.
PREGNANCY-RELATED SKIN CHANGES
There are many common changes that occur with pregnancy including melasma (pigmentation or “mask of pregnancy”), angiomas, acne, and stretch marks (striae).
PSORIASIS
Psoriasis is a non-contagious rash that most commonly occurs on the elbows, knees, and scalp, but can occur anywhere on the body.
ROSACEA / REDNESS
Rosacea is a very common type of adult acne that affects about 16 million Americans, but most people are unaware of how to recognize it. Patients with rosacea may have red, sensitive skin, pimples, dry or irritated eyes. Common triggers are sun stress, spicy food, hot beverage, alcohol and exertion.
SUN DAMAGE
Contrary to popular belief, the majority of sun damage does not occur before the age of 18 but rather between the ages of 19-40. Over time, sun exposure causes dark spots, wrinkling, rough spots, and eventually can lead to skin cancers.
VITILIGO
Patients with vitiligo develop white spots and patches on the skin, which are devoid of melanocytes or pigment cells.
WARTS
Warts are skin growths caused by a virus and are common in all age groups. Warts are notorious for hiding from the immune system and persisting or regrowing after treatment.

Do not go here. They will scare you into getting ridiculously over priced tissue exam by stating you’re sample looks cancerous, offer no explanation on billing but tell you not to worry it will be covered, not share your insurance information with the lab they’re using to test, and instead, tell you to ignore any statements you get until you go into collections. Horrible.

A very unprofessional place. I would not recommend this office to any young adult looking for a nice and professional practice. They seem to have a communication problem and tell their clients one thing, when they actually mean another. Front desk staff was rude, and in less words, basically told me “Oh well, to bad” when communication was crossed. If I could give zero stars I would.
