I came in as a new patient and reported concerns of a rash. Because I mentioned it worsening after spending a day in the sun the doctor was quick to say it was a fungal rash without looking at my skin closely and prescribed me a cream. After I was not satisfied with this visit I went to a different dermatologist for a second opinion and found out I have skin cancer after they encouraged a biopsy and am now in the process of scheduling my surgery. Doctor I encourage you to please double check your diagnosis even when it seems like the diagnosis is simple.
