I’m not sure what my family would do without the personal attention we get from Dermatology Associates. It has been life changing. Both of my teenagers fought terrible acne. Charles Byron helped them through what was a long journey, but it had a successful ending! And the administrative assistant Peggy is amazing!!! She answers our calls, questions and helps in so many ways. Thank you!!

I was new to Florida and especially in Panama City all together! One day my husband called and told me he made me an appointment and of course I was very hesitant. I also assumed it would be just like any other dermatology appointments I have had over the years, rushed, didn’t listen and I had never been throughly check or scanned over ever.

I have worked with these Doctors and our PA ‘s for years and they do care about their patients and employees. The office is kept clean and sanitized. Drug prices vary even if you do have great insurance ,we always try to help our patients with this and will do our best if you let us know.We have been having to wear masks .

(Edited) Please note this review is not a reflection of the entire office, just Dr. Watson. Since the appointment described below, I have seen a different doctor at this office, Dr. Charles Byron. He has changed my opinion of the office. I feel like 5 stars should be reserved for doctors with characteristics that set them apart from the rest. I would give Dr. Byron 4 stars.

On 27 June, 2019 I underwent Mohs Surgery at Dermatology Associates. The entire staff was friendly and helpful from the time I entered the front door and was greeted by reception until I finished with billing. Dr. Kovaleski performed the Mohs and Dr. Duong followed up with cosmetic surgery. Both doctors were personable and took time to explain the procedure in detail and kept me updated as I went through the process. Dermatology Associates understands customer service and is staffed with highly competent and professional personnel.

It took several months to get a referral from my daughter’s pediatrics office to the dermatology office. I am not sure who’s end the confusion was on but there was a bunch of back and forth. Not the end of the world. We finally go in for my daughter’s appointment and the reception staff were all super friendly and great, however we did wait two hours past the appointment time to be seen. I am a really patient person so I took it in stride. Get into see the doc and the PA or nurse that brought us back was friendly, asked plenty of questions, seemed thorough. When Dr. Watson (I believe) came in, she was in an obvious hurry, busy day I am sure, however she did not seem to listen to what we were saying and just gave us a regurgitated “plan” that included only one option, a $100 acne kit. I have had hormonal acne since I was 11. I have bought and seen it all. If I had wanted to be sold an expensive cleanser kit, I would have gone to my esthetician. I came to a specialist to gain greater insight into a problem that was now making my daughter’s life miserable. I could have googled and have googled the information she gave me. It’s common knowledge. She gave me no other options or ideas, just tried to sell me something. It was a big letdown, especially as long as we waited to see a real life dermatologist.
