Denise and Company Salon is a unisex salon in Massapequa Park, NY. Here, we have created a comfortable and welcoming environment to all who come through our doors. Breaking the stereotypes of a typical salon, (appointment only bookings, men and children are not welcome in the environment, feeling the need to “dress” yourself up before you go to the salon, long hours spent and multiple appointments to “finish” your hair process), Denise and Company Salon is an experience you will not only never forget, but will want again and again. With over 30+ years of experience in the business, Denise and our staff are ready to serve our community! You will feel beautiful inside and out every time you visit.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Denise and her team. My typical “beauty routine” involves putting my hair in a ponytail and applying chapstick, so on the day of a formal event, I gladly put myself in their extremely capable hands. Lisa and Morgan did a fantastic job and I couldn’t have been happier!

Obviously they only post positive reviews. Spoke with Heather on the phone the person that returned my call about not being happy with my hair coloring from a couple of weeks ago told me to come and have it redone. Went in today owner Denise had a real attitude. Blamed on my shampoo and all my hair products and that after 2 weeks I can expect to see gray roots. On the phone yesterday I even offered to pay. I never ask for anything for free. I guess she lost a new client. The funny thing is she cut my hair two weeks ago I gave her a 25 dollar tip and the colorist 25 as well. I think they use cheap products. Do they even know what a glazeis is. Maybe they should get with the times.

The staff is SO friendly and quick! I started coming here when their newest nail tech Lucy started. I am a long term client of Lucys from Not Just Nails. She is the absolute best and I will follow her anywhere she goes (even if it now takes me an hour to get there, ugh). I have been to many nail techs and no one does as fantastic of a job as her. I get UV gel and acrylic and they last SO long. Most of my friends need new full sets after 3-4 months – mine lasted 7 months. I have never had a nail break in those 7 months. (Maybe a little color chip here n there but thats if I went on vaca and used my hands a lot). I take good care of my nails though to keep them strong! Working in a hospital and washing my hands with purel constantly can sometimes chip the color but rarely. Thats just the name of the game though. Lucy always takes the win with figuring out a fun design for my ring finger (i am so indesicive and not creative). She may be young but VERY talented and experieneced. Denise is really nice and Heather – one of the hair dressers- is super kind and funny! I havent met all the staff yet but I am pleased with this salon. They also have candy you can suck on while you wait, which is wonderful when you are starving after work and need some sugar!!

Denise and Co. are a terrific team of experienced hair cutters and stylists plus I love the way they make me feel so welcomed just for being there and spending some time with them. The salon is so roomy, clean and well organized. I have a nice time every time I get my hair cut and colored.

Love Denise. She has been cutting my hair for about 9 years! Of course when she opened up her own shop I followed. Always cuts my hair the way I want. She has colored my hair solid colors as well as highlights and nails it every time. Her products are great. I buy hair products from her frequently. AND, she is a good listener. As for the rest of the staff, VERY friendly and great customer service.
