I stopped going here when my beloved MUA Melinda passed away in 2017, also my schedule became way too busy to be waiting hours on end just for an arch so I Tried doing my eyebrows myself for years by watching YouTube. Of all the things I’ve learned on YouTube, I just cannot get these crazy brows of mine to do right, so I hesitantly came back to Dendera a month ago and Kim did my brows and I must say, she’s a bit better than her mom in terms of addressing the type of eyebrows I have (sorry Celeste). I was seriously contemplating an eye brow lift before she arched my brows, but she hooked them up so good that I haven’t had to think about that anymore. The women there are always nice, pleasant and professional (even when homeless people or bootleggers come in the shop trying to solicit customers), but I absolutely agree with the reviewer about the long drawn out wait. I mean even I don’t want someone taking all day long on my own eye brows so I sure as heck don’t like waiting when they take 30-40 min per eye of someone else. Over the 20+ years I’ve gone to the shop, they never really seem to be concerned about the long wait of the customers and that’s unfortunate, but I guess when you’re as good as they are, “ perhaps their philosophy is just let them sit and endure the long wait.” That’s the only reason I took off a star. I recommend you go on a Tuesday or Wednesday, otherwise bring a good book cuz the wait will be very long for the weekend beauty queens.
