This nail salon is great. The staff are kind and take their time to do a proper job. There is lots of space so you don’t have to wait too long to be seen. Calling in advance to make an appointment is best as it’s a very popular spot and for good reason.

I would not recommend this place as there are better options in the Quincy area. Yesterday, I went in for a pedicure and a dip manicure. Overall this place is not the cleanest and it made my pedicure not very enjoyable.

I live 2 blocks away from Deluxe- It’s not my go-to because I’ve had a few friends get infections from their manicures amidst it being one of the cleanest looking nail salons in Southie. I was in a crunch and went in for a mid weekday gel manicure- simple. It was not busy and it was probably one of the worst gel applications I’ve had and was painful to sit and watch. The woman barely dipped the brush into the polish each time even after struggling to cover each nail with a coat (??), didn’t coat the full nail back to the cuticle or the edges so it already looked grown out. I pointed it out to her and she brushed me off. I couldn’t wait for it to be over and to no surprise, had chips a mere few days after. Waste of time and money, for me, unfortunately.

First time there and I probably won’t revisit. I always get the ballerina shape nails, and made her aware that I wanted to keep them that way. Along the way, I had to keep asking her to make the nails narrow (not square) , and she simply didn’t understand the assignment. In addition, she kept burning my nail bed with that shaping/shaving instrument repeatedly.

Critical: ValueBUYER BEWARE- On the 24th of December, I went to get a pedicure and eyebrows done. Pedicure was great, the lady who did my eyebrows burned me and now I’m left with this ugly scar. I don’t know how long this is going to take to heal but to think that she did nothing to my eyebrows but actually put wax underneath my brows is appalling. I finally found a great nail Salon! When I walked in and saw how busy they were, I figure it was a good place since is was Wednesday at 1:30. She asked if I could come back at 2:30 and I said yes, and went around the corner for lunch. All good. Well, I had a full set and I couldn’t believe it took only 40 minutes to do! And my nails looked amazing. Cathy was my technician and I highly recommend her. Definitely will be back

Critical: ValueThe staff was lovely and the place was clean. The only issue was the prices are outrageous. I did a full set and a pedicure and it cost me $120. They do a good job but in my opinion it wasn’t worth that much money. There are other places that do equal if not better work for less money.
