This place is AMAZING! After getting a truly horrible haircut, I was frantically calling around to see what places were available the next day for box braids. I was able to schedule an appointment right away with Delphine’s. The service was quick (~3 hours for shoulder length box braids), they were very gentle braiding my hair (my scalp does not itch or hurt at all), and the prices were fantastic especially given the high quality. This place is definitely my go-to now.

I had an appointment at 10am the ladies had me out by noon.. they worked together and I loved my hair. I’m very tender headed and I thought two ladies in my head at once was going to kill me but I had no issues. I provided a picture of how I wanted my hair and they executed it. Critical: ProfessionalismI took my son there to get braids on top of his head. When we walked in the woman who does the braiding was very rude and clearly wasn’t happy to braiding my sons hair. I feel like because my son isn’t fully African American was the reason for the attitude. The other braiding places around charge 20 for the same style she was charging 35 . I took my son there to get braids on top of his head. When we walked in the woman who does the braiding was very rude and clearly wasn’t happy to braiding my sons hair. I feel like because my son isn’t fully African American was the reason for the attitude. The other braiding places around charge 20 for the same style she was charging 35 . After the appointment was scheduled and confirmed I went to do my hair but the lady gave me a whole story just to say she could no longer do my hair.God bless whoever created wigs otherwise I don’t know what I would have done with my hair for that business trip. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI had scheduled an appointment for full butt length knotless braids and came out with about 20 braids in my head. The parting and braid size was inconsistent all over my head as if she was trying to rush to finish. I had came back asking for a partial refund or a redo of the complete hairstyle because it was nothing like the picture that I had originally shown for inspiration. After 15 minutes of the owner blaming the thickness of my hair for the reason why the hairstyle didn’t come out like how I wanted it to, we finally came to an agreement of a redo. The braids around the perimeter of my head were so tight that I had lost hair around my temples when taking down the hairstyle. The parting and braid size was inconsistent all over my head as if she was trying to rush to finish.
