Amanda has been styling my hair for 6 years and her work is amazing. She knows how to style my difficult to work with hair and I always leave with a blowout that lasts for days. I receive so many complements about how beautiful my hair is. Amanda also does my daughters keratin and I can’t say enough about the magic she has performed to tame her very tight and unruly curls. Amanda is alway professional and personable. We both enjoy our time in her chair! I highly recommend her!

I recently went to Dellaria Salon in Wellesley and had Amanda for a hairdresser. She did a cut, color, and style in one sitting. Amanda did an absolutely amazing job! I was extremely impressed by the level of care and detail she took to make sure my new look was flawless! I was so impressed by the coloring job she did and how natural it came to look. I can not thank her enough! Not only is she extremely talented, but she is also just an all around great person to talk to. I genuinely enjoyed her company. I highly recommend Amanda and will definitely be using her services in the future!

A $100 blowdry? Wow!! I am very very disappointed and shocked! I go to Dellaria in Wellesley regularly for blow dry and they did a great job. I went on Friday and my regular stylist was not working that day – without telling me they charged me $100 for a blow dry!! I was shocked. I was told because the stylist used the “curling tool” which I had not asked him to, I was charged. I could not believe it!! Then the owner, Hind saw my reaction and scrambled to give me a shampoo, no conditioner and some sort of hair cream to make up which was no help at all because she gave me useless product. I am in a shock!

I began attending college around here and I’m from out of state, so I was nervous about finding a good hair stylist because my hair is so thick and dark and I’ve had a lot of ups and downs with it in salons. I showed Yaritza what I wanted for my cut and how I wanted it colored and she cut it shorter than I wanted and the highlights were just barely showing up. It’s a decent haircut but again it was shorter than my reference picture, and I’m just disappointed because several reviews praised her work. She also made me uncomfortable; I know my hair is hard for stylists to work with, but I didn’t need her to remind me how much hair I have and how dark it is while groaning. At a point it felt like she was just done with me and wanted me out of there, but I questioned nothing because I was already there for several hours (expected duration but still tiring).

I had a very bizarre, uncomfortable, and disappointing experience here. Gino didn’t ask me questions about what I wanted, he just went straight into cutting. I was shocked that apparently he does not use clippers or thinning shears (after I asked specifically). How can you do a short mens cut without using clippers on the neck? His idea of thinning was sticking his scissors into my hair without a comb and slicing randomly at an angle. I have been to many different salons at varying price ranges and have never seen a stylist use that “technique”. It really seemed like there was no method to the madness. My haircut is uneven and I have random pieces of super short hair at the top of my head due to the slicing. The hair on my neck is not short enough because he didn’t use clippers or a razor, and it will not last me to my next haircut. I feel bad about having to leaving this review but I‘m just sort of dumbfounded that this happened.

My hair is thick and curly and she makes it smooth and beautiful. I’ve seen many stylists that can’t handle my hair! Yaritza also cuts and colors my hair. I had been going to another stylist for 15 years before I made the switch. I was nervous but she did a perfect job with both the color and cut. I have red hair so getting the color just right is not easy. She is fantastic and is also a delight to see and chat with. I also want to give credit to the manager/owner, Hind. My hair stylist was sweet. Said she’s been there a long time. No complains about her. Decent haircut. But the place isn’t the most well-kept salon, considering it’s $75 a haircut (plus a lot of directions on how to cut it). The staff was alright. My hair smells a little burnt, as there was an lot of high heat being held in one spot for a long time. All in all, I won’t be returning, unfortunately.
