Deka Lash was founded in 2011 on the belief that all beauty services should be attainable. Our founder Jennifer Blair noticed a major gap within the beauty industry – eyelash extension services were only in select cities, priced incredibly high, and available only to certain consumers. So Jennifer became a lash artist to fix the problem herself. Together with her husband Mike, Jennifer formed Deka Lash by pairing together the first two letters of her two daughters’ names (DEmi and KArli), and set up shop in a one-room studio outside of Pittsburgh, PA. No even worth a 1 star. The lash girl is inexperienced she took 2 hours to try to pul lashes on me didn’t say any comments during application but after that I wasn’t satisfied she said that’s all she can do and several times she was pulling and poking me while applying though she keep apologizing but I still gave her a very good tip not because I am satisfied but appreciative of her time . They had my card saved so they charged it. This morning I found out got charged for $336 , she sold me a serum that costs $80. So I am expecting to get charged $260. Made a complaint and was told that because I am a returning customer they charged me $250 Nothing of that was mentioned in their site when I booked. Illegal to charge me extra.

I received eyelash extensions on Monday. I was very excited because I am getting ready for my wedding and these are for a bridal event tonight! I had a great experience with my technician, I tipped her $40. I was VERY cautious with my lashes-i did not shower or exercise for the first 48 hours as instructed. However, after the first 2 days my lashes were falling out in clumps. I was very upset and sent in pictures to customer service because i knew about the 5 day refund/fix policy. They were fantastic and scheduled me today (FRIDAY) at 430 pm. I received a voicemail at 1:35 pm -3 hours before cancelling with no solution other then call customer service. I called immediately to reschedule and the earliest they could get me in was Monday. I let them know how important tonight was and they offered Sunday. I said i would pay for a new set and they still could not get me in. I am very upset. I also asked for proof that they rescheduled in an email so I would still be eligible for the fix/refund and she said they had no way of doing that. I am scheduled for Sunday but I’m sure i will be charged full now. I am shocked that I received this service and now i will be going to my bridal event with missing eyelashes. I will make sure to tell everyonewhere I got them done.

Update: Came for a second time for a lash lift, Andrea was phenomenal! Very gentle and amazing attention to detail. Barely noticed a thing during the procedure and was so relaxed and comfortable! Will be a regular of hers!

Critical: ProfessionalismI had a great experience the first time. That was the ONLY reason I went back. The second time the lashes looked horrible. Literally like my own lashes with mascara. I called to let them know how I felt and I was told that it was my fault for coming in at 4 weeks and not 3 weeks. She said they couldn’t offer me any solutions except coming in and paying for another fill. They have lost my business. On to a new place! I’d love some suggestions of places!In response to your response: I would have happily paid for a full set if someone indicated that to me before she started. I arrived a bit early and told her I totally understood that I was 20 m early to my appt and I’d jst wait but instead she reassured me it was not a problem for her and happily took me early. All the employees were extremely polite and welcoming and went out of there way to make sure I was taken care of as a client. The chaise seating is very comfortable and the salon was clean and the organized. The process itself was probably the most comfortable lash extension experience I’ve had… I went through a 6m period where I exclusively wore lash extensions..the under eye pads were placed correctly, no redness or irritation from the adhesive, no sticking of lashes from adhesive the application process was seamless and my technician make it a point to ask the right questions so she could ensure I’m satisfied with the end result.Thank you Casey & DP Deka Lash for such a great experience.
