I’ve done my lashes before in other places and this place wasn’t that bad, the girl who did my lashes kind of irritated my eyes. It felt like she put the lashes in my skin which hurt my eyes. I thought at first I was getting a swollen eye from an allergic reaction but it was just her placement. Not sure if I’ll come back but at least the lashes look. I was not pleased with the pain.

She explained the process and made sure everything was clean.The lashes look great, however, it’s only been 3 days and they’re already falling out more than I expected. I’m very careful with lash extensions and I make sure to take care of them properly and a new set normally lasts me 4-5 weeks without a refill. The lashes still look great, just not a voluminous as when I had gotten them on Friday.But other than that, they look great. This was my first time going to Deka. I used a Groupon which saved me a lot but if I had paid full price it would not have been worth it. The most I could say as a positive is that the salon appears very clean and modern. Getting the lashes applied was mostly fine but the thing they have you lay down on hurt my neck (even with a pillow) so I was uncomfortable for most of the appointment but could not really adjust myself. There were a couple times I experienced a stinging sensation in my eyes which leads me to believe the tech (named Sha’Ni) got some type of adhesive/solution in my eyes or did not properly apply the guards under the eye. Immediately after leaving, lashes were already falling out and some of my real bottom lashes on the outer corner were stuck in the adhesive so i had to cut my real lashes to free them and not constantly have a tugging sensation. Also, my left eye was bloodshot for about 5 days even with eye drops. The lashes have barely lasted a week. So many of them have fallen out. I have never experienced any of this getting my lashes done elsewhere. I know that they make you sign a waiver so they are not responsible if anything goes wrong but the fact remains that the service was very disappointing, especially if you are paying the regular price of $200. Also, I requested a cat eye but it doesn’t really look like a cat eye. It was still pretty but come on… I’d recommend going elsewhere.

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, my experience was exceptional. I have only used strip lashes and never had lash extensions before coming here so I had many questions and concerns. The lash artist I saw, Sha’Ni was professional, knowledgeable and addressed all concerns I had which made me comfortable. Though the service seemed lengthy, time flew. My results were amazing and lasted weeks! The extensions enhanced my eyes with both glasses and contacts. I couldn’t have been more satisfied with my entire experience and results. I highly recommend Deka Lash to everyone especially to those who love mascara and lashes but not the daily application.

I’ve been getting lashes done for at least 6 years. I was living down south and had an amazing place I went to and when I moved back home I tried different places in Manhattan and around my neighborhood but nothing compared. I finally started commuting across the bridge into jersey. Someone mentioned Deka Lash so after reading the reviews I tried it out. And then signed up for the membership bc they are exactly what I’m used to. We shall see if they last as long as I’m used to because that will be the ultimate test. So if I don’t update this review that means they were perfect. Oh and the place is super clean and peaceful. I had Victoria she really took her time and did a great job.
