Thus, whenever I have to switch to a new hairstylist for some reasons, I’m getting pretty uneasy.When I came to the salon, the stylist (her name was Mala) started from a conversation. She was attentively listening to my concerns, then we discussed what would be the best option for the type and the condition of my hair, and how much did it cost. So, by the moment we started the bleaching, I’ve already felt quite comfortable. Mala was very hospitable, tactful and professional. I’ll definitely come back to the Deja Vous because loved the results and I found the team super friendly and skillful. If there’s less than a star I would definitely rate it less. Me and brother went for a beard fade and it ended badly, my brother luckily was able to save his at home as for me, I had to shave it because the fade was a disaster. It was the worst shaving experience. I would never recommend anyone to shave their beards there!

Had a great experience at this salon! I called in the morning for a same-day appointment and was accommodated. I was greeted quickly upon arrival and met with Lucky. Consultation for coloring was on-point; I feel like she really understood that I needed a change but wanted something more natural. We went with a brown balayage to compliment the natural chestnut like brown hues I have in my dark, brown hair. Had an awesome hair wash (very relaxing) and coloring process was quick and painless. Cut and blow out were beautiful. I will be returning for my graduation blow-out. Loved my hair cut and Lucky was awesome and knowledgeable.

If I could, I would give them 100 stars. They are always pleasant. Great team of stylists. Always feel welcomed there. Sometimes my schedule can be hectic or changes may happen unexpectedly. They work with within reason.The entire staff are great. Very knowledgeable. I usually go to see Alex (the owner); I have been going to see him for almost 10 years. He is quick and efficient in the timing for cutting my hair. The prices are reasonable and they are great for all times of hair. My hair is textured. It is rare to find a salon that can accomodate textured thick (black) hair as well as fine hair. They will make sure you are happy with what you are requesting from them. I am very picky about my hair and they are amazingly patient. Everytime I come here; it feels like they are a family.

I started going to Deja Vous about a year ago. I live in Staten Island and had gone to quite a few reputable salons in my area but was not getting the optimum results I was hoping for with my hair color. I require color every 4 weeks to cover my grays. Since I work in NYC someone referred me to Ricky at Deja Vous, I was hesitant but went anyway. He corrected the various shades of browns I ended up with from the prior salons. He got it right, I ended up with the brown shiny look that I wanted which was my natural color from when I was younger but richer( I am now in my 50’s). I only like a trim but he is always able to give me a great shape for my long hair without taking off more than a dusting. And I greatly appreciate that. My hair is naturally curly and frizzy and thinner than it used to be. Ricky handles my aging hair with care while achieving a smooth full blow out that lasts, without overdoing products, hence no more product build up. I would highly recommend Ricky. He is so personable and pleasant to be around. One other great thing I am not spending hours or my days off in a salon. His hours are so convenient he starts real early and is there late so before and after work are options. While in the salon I see the other work he does young girls and woman and he is so good with highlights and other color options.

I’ve been going to this salon for 2 years now! I live in Jersey and the commute is 100% worth it! Ricky is the most amazing stylist I’ve ever had! My cut and highlights have never looked so good! Ricky really listens to what I want and does my hair to perfection every time! If you want your hair to look amazing then Ricky is the guy to go to!

I’ve been going to Deja Vous for couple of years now and I love the place. The service is great, I normally can book an appointment at the last minute and they keep appointments on schedule. Usually I have Eli coloring my hair and for haircuts and so far I’ve always been very happy with his work. I strongly recommend this hair salon.
