Positive: Professionalism, QualityShe was 30 mins late but stayed in touch with me the entire time before getting to my place. That was fine, Camille was very professional, quick and clean. I called to get my hair braided, my wife and mother in law ended up getting their hair done also. Glad I by passed her bad reviews. So happy with my hair!! Thank you!!!Service: Braids

Critical: Punctuality, QualityEdited (as of 9/28 12:19pm)I didn’t experience the unprofessionalism that I read in previous reviews, but that has since changed.Upon leaving my original review and sharing my experience Camille sent me several texts in the middle of the night and has name called me out of my name in the reply below.I’m sharing my experience so that anyone reading the reviews can make an informed decision about where to spend their money and time.This is not to make anyone look bad but to share my genuine and authentic experience which unfortunately was not positive (although I wish it was).****************************Original review: Booked online with StyleSeat last week. Camille was rather pleasant and very responsive to my inquiry. My appointment was scheduled for Saturday the 25th. It was supposed to start at 11, She called a few minutes after saying she was running 20-30 minutes late. Okay cool, I sent a text after 45 minutes just to learn she was 20 minutes away. She didn’t arrive until 12:30pm.I showed her the pic on style seat of the braids that I wanted but that’s not what I received. My hair was filled with bees wax and so were the braids. I’ve gotten braids many times before so I know quality braids I just wanted something done sooner than later.I regret that decision.She called and told me to cancel my appointment on style seat and pay in cash or cash app, but everyone knows if you cancel within a certain time your card gets charged and I was charged 108.00. Long story short she was still at my house braiding at almost 11pm. I’ve never had braids take past 8 hours.She kept saying it would only be another hour, it went from 7pm to 8pm to midnight. I stopped her and told her to stop the work and I wouldn’t be getting my hair done and that I would be taking the braids out as it’s not what I asked for. I will say that I mentioned and referenced her picture at least 3 times while she was braiding and she said those were the braids. They were NOT!She told me I would have to pay for her time and she calculated that to 80 bucks. So not only did he get 108.00 plus 80 bucks plus the 25 dollar deposit.I immediately booked with a who I know does great braids. I will be patient and wait the 2 weeks to get them because she’s booked everyday and she only charges 150.Camille was very friendly while braiding, but after reflecting I really don’t think she’s honest and her skills are definitely not up to par.Keep looking ladies.Service: BraidsEdited (as of 9/28 12:19pm)I didn’t experience the unprofessionalism that I read in previous reviews, but that has since changed. …More
