I’ve been coming to Deepa’s since Deepa was actually threading herself. I’m hairy and these girls are skilled at removing hair. Deepa’s daughters always give great service and the prices are reasonable for the Bay Area. I recently moved out of the Bay Area and went back for a cleanup since I needed to be pristine for an event while I was visiting in town.

I used to thread my eyebrows and I loved it but the place I went to wasn’t exactly convenient to get to, so I just tried to keep the shape by plucking but they got thinner and thinner, not as defined and I could never get them clean enough. A couple weeks ago I committed to growing them out so I could get them threaded but haven’t been able to find the time to get to the place I used to go to, so I googled a couple places and found Deepa’s and thought I’d give them a try, I called at about 6:30pm and because I only live a few minutes away she was willing to take me even though they typically stop seeing clients at 6:30. I rushed over and they took care of my sad, pathetic, fuzzy brows and it’s so much easier to get to, so I’ll definitely be returning in a week or two when I need them done again. It’s also a major plus that they didn’t act as if my last minute show up was an inconvenience to them. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Do not go to this place. I went there with an appointment and had to wait 45 minutes because I wanted do eye-brows threading only. The lady who was threading my brows (I don’t know her name, but she told some one on the phone that she is Deepa’s daughter) was awful and it was the most painful threading I have ever had. Not only that, while she was threading my brows, she was talking over her cell phone. The place is very stuffy. I took my mom with me and she got sick in there.

So I’ve been getting my brows done here for 2-3 years and lately they seem to be irritating me more and more. I came in today and wrote my name down as common. Noticed that they had a great deal of people calling ahead. I ignored it the first time when I had been sitting here for 30 minutes and they took a lady who called in after I was here before me. Now, ive been here for an hour and they have taken 2 more ladies ahead of me. Both whom have showed up after me and one who just recently called in.
