Best hair salon experience…..EVER! All the stylists are incredibly talented and have wonderful (and funny!) personalities to match! Lola is my stylist and she is a gem! I appreciate how much time and attention she puts into what her clients want! Not only is she talented, patient, and professional, but she is super friendly and makes the experience a relaxing, enjoyable one! From the moment you walk in the salon, you feel like it’s your home away from home. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, and all the stylists are AMAZING and treat you like they’ve known you for years! I’ve seen work that all of the stylists have done and it’s nothing short of perfection! Love this salon, love the stylists there! If you want that “wow” look and a FUN, relaxing experience getting it, this is the place you want to go!

First visit, Atlanta gave me the best cut and color I’d had in a long time, at such a fair price it was hard to believe. Today, another perfect haircut by Atlanta! No more driving all the way to Raleigh and spending $100 for a decent haircut. If you are looking for a relaxed, comfortable experience and a current style, look no further. Atlanta not only brings fresh skills and technique, she always keeps me up on new products for my hair type that I love. Both visits, I’ve also ended up bringing home some of the cute “funky” jewelry they have too. In my family we all go to Atlanta now. The easy online scheduling is just another added bonus. Yay! for Wilson and thank you Deep Roots Salon. Keep up the good work.

I have never really like going in a salon because they always seem impersonal. I have alway like the little mom and pop places were they know your name and treat you like family. But I can not say enough about this place it is great. It may be a new and modern salon, but this girls make you feel like you are apart of the family . I see Candice there and she has never let me walk away unhappy with my hair. She really listen to what it is you want and how you want it then works with you to do just what you want…. Check them out you will not regret it.

Customer service with this salon is horrible to put it mildly. I talked with the owner and paid a fairly large deposit in March 2018 for a wedding in November 2018. We tried on several occasions to set something up with the stylist for my daughter, the bride. On October 31 I was texted by the owner asking if she could call me within the next 30 minutes. I received a call 2 hours later and she stated that she had overbooked herself on the day of the wedding. The wedding was for my daughter and she had been to the stylist in the past and was comfortable with her work. The arrangement was a gift to my daughter and she was never to know the price. All of this information was provided to the owner. The owner preferred to do the 2nd wedding as it was larger and she “grew up” with the bride from the wedding that was booked later. The owner asked if I had a problem with having another stylist do my daughter’s wedding party. I told her it was fine with me but ultimately it would be my daughters decision. A session was scheduled with the second stylist 2 days later and she could not do the style my daughter was looking for on her “big day”. It was a fishtail braid with waves. Additionally, the 2nd stylist provided my daughter with all the financial details and and went on to tell her that she was going to increase the price based on the length of each bridesmaids hair. My daughter and the 2nd stylist did not click at all. The owner called me later as my daughter told the 2nd stylist we would probably not use the service. The owner called me and the call wasn’t very professional at all. She initially told me I would not be charged because the error was hers. Additionally, she told me that I would receive a full refund on the funds I paid in March. Thankfully, I got a receipt and was honest about what I paid because the owner had absolutely no clue. I realize she had an ordeal going on in her life, however the manor in which the entire issue was handed was extremely poor. I was told that I could pick up my refund the next day as she (the owner) would be working all day. I got to the salon around noon and the person who greeted me was the 2nd stylist. She was not very friendly and quite frankly extremely rude. She said the owner didn’t leave anything for me but she would call and verify. She wound up writing me a check for the refund minus $65 which I was charged for a braid and hair spray that she did to my daughter’s hair a couple of days prior. The check was written on the spot and wasn’t even made payable to me, it was left blank. There was no apology only attitude and ugly looks (eye rolling, frown, etc). I’ve been to the salon many times and referred many people. While the owner does a good job when she focuses, she isn’t very organized and keeps repeat customers waiting for long periods of time as she overbooks herself. I wouldn’t normally say anything about this but after the way the entire situation was handled, I’ve had enough of the owners lack of respect and good business acumen when it comes to customers with longevity. I like a couple of the other stylists that work in the salon however will probably not be going back due to the unprofessional attitude and lack of respect from the owner. I wish her well with her business, however based on how this situation was handled will definitely not recommend her services or salon to any of my colleagues, family, or friends in the future. It’s a shame one can’t write a review with zero stars.

Abi is absolutely amazing and does great color, cuts, etc. She listens, is patient and does a perfect job every single time. I trust her completely. All of the girls here are so sweet, friendly and accommodating- not to mention are all very highly qualified. Great, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!
