I only come here to get my hair braided. Both times she was able to fit me in last minute and she has great prices. The braids last longer than other shops I’ve been to. If I’m going to spend a certain amount of money, I expect the braids to last a while. One style she did for me was 5 braids on each side and it last a month- I kept them in longer, wrapping and oiling my hair most nights. She does styles exactly how I ask. The style she did for my baby shower got a lot of compliments as well. I don’t normally leave reviews but she definitely deserves it.

I spoke with Dee to schedule appointment for my husband. She met the same day need. He raved about how awesome she did his locks. And he plans to go to her regularly. I ranked it a four because there is a separate fee to wash his hair and a separate fee to style it after retwisting it. Maybe we were spoiled but the fee for styling it seems a bit much because she advised he should come every two weeks. That would mean $140 for wash, twist and style. Her work is amazing and I guess he’ll have to work a little harder for this maintenance.

The owner and her sister were extremely kind and were able to get me an early morning appointment so I didn’t have to be at the shop too late. The shop is super nice and clean. These braids have lasted longer than a lot of other shops and they still look neat! I will definitely be back to get my hair done again! Box Braids

Overall, I got Senegalese twist which turned out to be very beautiful. Dee and her sister did a great job on my hair . I know I will be receiving a lot of compliments. The shop was clean and spacious. However, the only reason I ranked it 3/5 is because she needs to be a little more clearer with the price when she talks to the customer . example . She like okay I can do you hair Saturday but send me a 25$ security deposit through cash app . Okay fine . I do that . Thinking that like any other deposit you get it back or it goes towards your bill. No . When I get there she like that doesn’t count . So question are you charging me just for you to “ do my hair ? “ . Then she’s quoted me the price differently otp then when I get there she’s like oh that’s just to start. Example she like 185 is to start I said okay so I gave you the 25$ already no that don’t count . So technically it’s not 185 to start . It’s 210 then..??Cool.. didn’t feel like arguing since I drove over an hour : Then like everything from there on was an extra up charge… great work . Just need to be CLEAR upfront and not SCAM a customer when they get there.
