Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueLet me start by saying I’ve been to many salons in Boston. Both hair salons and African Braiding salons. I’ve never had extremely horrible service but I’ve had my share of stereotypes played out, waiting forever, etc. But this salon is SO POLISHED, it’s clean, the owner, Gladys, does my hair very quickly and she is KIND. That’s a word you don’t hear too often but I’m using it. This salon does all types of hair. Locs, braids, wash and blow and much more. I was very pregnant the first time I went and needed my extremely dirty and curly hair (4c if you’re a hair guru) washed and braided. She gave me the best wash and deep conditioning, blow dry, provided hair and neatly braided my hair in singles in under 4 hours! Not to mention we had great conversation, I watched some TV, chatted with other customers. Just a really well run and well rounded atmosphere. I cannot say enough how deeply impressed I am about the quality and consideration given to my hair AND the kindness. Excellent salon, please try it out, it’s a hidden gem that needs your support! They do all types of hair, black and white, men and women, curly and straight. I’ve never had extremely horrible service but I’ve had my share of stereotypes played out, waiting forever, etc. But this salon is SO POLISHED, it’s clean, the owner, Gladys, does my hair very quickly and she is KIND.
