I came in Jan. 21st at 5:45pm to get my haircut done by Hannah. I showed her a picture of what I wanted (1st picture) and the 2nd picture is the result. I checked it while I was in the salon and it looked good to me. I complimented her and gave her a tip. The experience was pretty good, Hannah was conversational. We talked about the show “You”, what our plans for the weekend was and how she was going to the Ice Castles. I throughly enjoyed our conversation.

This salon is amazing. Everyone is friendly and Michelle L is the best stylist I’ve been to! I love coming here as I know I will always leave happy! Updated: upon learning of the issues we experienced, the salon lead called to learn what happened- I was assured it’s not the typical level of service they provide and invited me back to get a better experience. I appreciate the care and service it takes to make that phone call and make it right. I’m adjusting my review from 2 stars to 3 and hopefully a new experience will exceed! I went to Daylily to have a few curls put in for some photos being taken same day . The stylist Shelby curled my hair completely twice and it would not hold nor did the curls look good. She asked if I liked the end-result and I was upfront and told her I didn’t. I was also disappointed that she didn’t use heat protectant either. Another salon in the STC area recommended Daylily.

I wish I could review the massage and salon services separately. I would give 5 stars for massage. I have degenerative disc disease and dystonia (painful muscle spasticity). I have not had much relief from massage recently, and was told only Botox injections would help, which are costly. I tried a massage anyway. Even though I couldn’t get in with the Deep Tissue Massage specialist, the massage I received was the best ever! I experienced great pain relief, and increased mobility in one 30 minute session. Highly recommend. At the salon, I got a perm and had hair break off in clumps around my hairline. It continued to break off, when I got home. When I complained, I was told to come back in but was told it was “not that bad.” I received some styling tips, but no refund or conditioning treatment. Maybe it was too ambitious a process for my hair type, and I don’t mean to displace any blame. I did ask about this beforehand, my hair was tested, and I was told it should be ok to proceed. After several months, it stopped looking like I had chopped off a tuft of hair near the part, but I will probably not get a perm again. The haircut was nice, but I have spent less for similar. My stylist was friendly, and it was a beautiful location.

Had my first balayage with Chyanne and all I can say it was a five-star experience! I have dark hair which makes it harder to be colored. I was worried I wouldn’t get the result I wanted, but Chyanne successfully transformed my hair to be sophisticated ash-brown just like I wanted! Definitely, I recommend her to anyone who is looking for a hair stylist or simply getting a new look.
