Daydream Salon is a sweet studio in a neighborhood setting that offers a safe and welcoming space for everyone to sit and be treated to a transformative experience. Daydream was opened by Dylan McCord in summer of 2022. Dylan began her hair styling career in 2010 as an apprentice stylist at VAIN, she received her formal training at the Gary Manuel Aveda Institute in Seattle and became licensed in 2011. Dylan specializes in haircuts and colors that are customized to each of her clients desired look, lifestyle, and needs. She believes that hair styling is an art form and is passionate about creating cuts and colors that evolve over time providing her clients with seamless grow out and individual aesthetic.

Daydream Salon (Dylan) is a hair sorceress. She is a perfectionist so you know your hair will be looking perfect every time. She’s also very versatile with different types of hair and styles. When I planned to move to Washington, I asked if my stylist in California if she could recommend anyone in the area for my hair. After consulting professionals in the community, she gave me Dylan’s name. She said the consensus was that Dylan was known for her color work and kindness. That was right on both fronts! I’m so glad I looked her up when I moved! I’ve now been coming to Dylan for my hair needs for the last two years or so, and she has always done a wonderful job. We have gone from platinum blonde to brunette, from red to pink to teal, and lots of places in between. She has helped me grow out my hair when I wanted to and also given me great cuts when it was time to go shorter. We have experimented with bangs, different parts, layers and no layers. She has styled my hair curly and blown out. It has all been great! And now that she has her own business, her space truly reflects her unique aesthetic and warm personal touch. The studio puts you at ease just like she does. Oh, and her sweet dog making an appearance every now and then doesn’t hurt matters! She definitely has a lifelong customer in me.
