I used to come here a lot before the pandemic, I came about 2 weeks ago, and the service wasn’t like I remembered. I did a basic mani and pedi, the pedi was done by an older woman, she was not thorough and my nails still felt like it needed a more thorough cleaning done. Within a week the gel started coming off, I peeled off the gel color and the nails under were not clean and cuticles look like they were barely trimmed, it was not like how I’ve gotten in other nail salons.

Critical: QualitySo I need to preface by saying, I was very convinced based on the pictures and reviews from other customers. I really was excited before coming. I had a dip powder removal, and before starting they did not tell me they could not do it. They had me soak my hands in nail polish remover for a long time, to the point where my skin was cracking and the red stains from the dip powder were all over my hands. They cut two of my cuticles, as they were bleeding right after. I had to ask if I could wash my hands because they left the chemical on them.For the actual shellac portion, I used a picture from their own reviews and they acted like they had never seen it before. They tore up my hands, my cuticles, and didn’t leave an even paint job. The glitter was globbed on and uneven and bumpy.They treated me weird, and told me not to touch their towels. The bathroom was kinda gross too, as they had no clean brushes or sanitizer for them. So I need to preface by saying, I was very convinced based on the pictures and reviews from other customers. I really was excited before coming. I had a dip powder removal, and before starting they did not tell me they could not do it. Came here with a group of friends for birthday. The staff was super sweet and friendly and funny! We had a really good experience. And my gel manicure lasted 2+ weeks! My friends and I adored this salon! We are looking forward to going back!

This is my favorite place to go for all my nail needs! Tina is a magician in the nail department and everyone makes incredible Vietnamese coffee! You get absolutely pampered here with things like a massage, paraffin, and even hot stones. I love getting gel on my hands and it’s so nice having my feet get everything from hot towels to a melt-worthy calf massage. I bring anyone who will listen here!

Day Nails consistently provides excellent service, and during Covid-19 they have gone to extensive lengths to avoid spread of the virus. Upon entry, customers are required to have their temperature taken, wear masks at all time indoors, and besides wearing gloves and masks, the technicians have clear plastic dividers between them and their customers which are disinfected (along with the seats and surfaces) between customers. Further, their signature complimentary beverages are provided in recyclable to-go cups.
