When I called, the phone was answered promptly, and I was able to make an appointment for a few days later. (I left messages for another local salon, and they never returned my calls. So kudos to Davis White!) They texted reminders which is always appreciated. The salon is very clean and inviting with comfy chairs and a sofa. They also have a tea/coffee beverage center and mints. Our stylist, Irena, was pleasant and very polite. We never felt rushed. We had never been here before, and I was nervous – women and their hair ya know! However, Irena listened carefully to how I wanted my hair cut. She is meticulous and really concentrates on what she is doing. I was very happy with my cut and the way she styled it. Usually, I get home and redo my hair but I didn’t have to do anything. She also cut my husband’s hair, and he was very satisfied. It’s amazing how many stylists can’t cut a man’s hair correctly. We are just visiting in the area but hope to get back again before we leave.

Hayley has become my family’s go-to. I’ve been a client of Hayley since early summer! She has done beautiful color and has helped me maintain growing my hair out. I have loved every appointment’s results and look forward to each upcoming session. My teenage son is very picky and has been very happy with how she cuts his hair. My husband keeps standing appointments as well. I highly recommend Hayley!

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI am sure the salon in general is good and has several quality stylists. I however would avoid Irena. She is very cold, unfriendly, and has little patience or understanding. These are not the qualities you look for in a hairstylist. It is a service based industry that not only relies on the quality of the services provided. But it also relies on interaction with your clients, and building your customer base for future business. Building your customer base, and working at maintaining that is the cornerstone for any business. I am sure the salon in general is good and has several quality stylists. I however would avoid Irena. She is very cold, unfriendly, and has little patience or understanding. These are not the qualities you look for in a hairstylist. It is a service based industry that not only relies on the quality of the services provided. I was in town for vacation and desperately needed to have my hair cut and highlighted. I was a little nervous about going to someone completely new but this place had good reviews so I tried it. My stylist Jamie was wonderful. She listened to what I wanted, looked at pictures, and asked for my input along the way. I like my hair even better than when my regular stylist does it.
