I’ve had 3 laser hair treatments all with Alba. She is great! Such a sweetheart, fun to talk to, and professional. The facility is clean. The machine they use has a ton of settings / customizations so they can adjust it to your needs, and it’s honestly not as painful as I thought it would be. It barely stings at most and I am a total baby when it comes to pain. There was no pressure at my consolation. And I saw results after my first treatment (leg hair removal), now on the 3rd one it’s basically non existent. I wish I had gone here much sooner!

I saw Dr. Noll for post surgical scar laser treatments with the hope of reducing the appearence, size, and texture of my scar. Had Dr. Noll mentioned to me just once that laser treatments can actually increase or exacerbate white scar tissue, I would have never pursued these treatments. They were a waste of time, and money and definitely did not give me the desired cosmetic result. My before and after photos are evidence of this. Dr. Noll seems well intentioned but scattered and overly comitted. Yesterday a random person mentioned my scar and I had it covered with make up to boot. Such a regrettable outcome. If you are looking to treat any type of scarring, I urge you to do your own research and choose dermatologist or plastic surgeon that specializes in this. Or better yet, use a good topical scar cream/ gel and let nature and time be your best healer. Knowing what I know now, I wish I had let my scar heal on its own.

I’m so glad I decided to go here for my laser hair removal. I’ve gotten laser hair removal before at a MedSpa in Chico several years ago. However my unwanted body hair and facial hair (I have PCOS and unfortunately hair male pattern facial hair as a woman. Yuck! ) was getting out of control. I came to Davis Dermatology for help and it was an amazing experience! The machines they have are fantastic and far superior to the other laser machine that was used on me in at the other MedSpa. After 6 treatments the hair is basically gone! I’m absolutely amazed and I feel so much better about myself. The staff were kind and understanding. They genuinely wanted to help and didn’t judge me.
