I’m not sure if it was the owner who cut my hair, but they did a great job explaining their process on cutting my hair. I have medium length curly hair and most barbers don’t know how to work with that type of texture. This place has been one of the only barbers who understands how hair behaves and uses that knowledge to create quality cuts.

I got a great haircut here the other day! I was a walk in and they got right to me. Much more affordable price than any of the salons in town, 25 bucks is WAY better for a quick trim than the 50 of salons. Only reason for 4 stars is because they don’t take card which was a bit inconvenient, but the service way fantastic. Highly Recommended!

Critical: QualitySince the owner would like more details (edit). The barber I used gave me one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. He made my head look like I lost a fight with a lawnmower. I asked for a 4 on the top and low skin taper on the sides and a line up. I got an uneven line up, and my taper was uneven. The barber also was cursing about food in Davis the whole haircut. I would never go to this place ever again. The man who cut my hair sounded drunk and was belligerent. The young kid was not skilled at all at his craft and deserves to not have a chair in that barber. So that is why it is a 0 start establishment. I love this place. Barber Max has mastered my complicated hair that swirls in all directions. Each time I see him, he makes me look better. This place is friendly and welcoming to little boy, undergrads, and old men alike. Its an old fashioned, home town barber shop.

Critical: QualityMy ENTIRE haircut was done using a machine… The top part of my hair is pretty long so I was surprised that he used the clippers to cut the top of my hair. Most barbers use scissors on the top part and blend the sides, this guy did NOT do this, also my side burns were soooo uneven. Don’t even get me started that he took a phone call in the middle of my haircut, super unprofessional. Also what’s going on with the chairs at this place, I kept spinning the entire time i was sitting in his chair. I had a great haircut here last week so we brought our 2.5 year old for his very first barbershop hair cut. Jeff was absolutely amazing. He talked and played with our kiddo and put him at ease. Not a single tear was shed and he looks absolutely amazing! Thanks Barber Jeff!!!
