I started with a naturally dark brown short pixie. I had some box color to cover gray which came out nicely.Knowing that we were moving me from almost black to platinum (so no orange or yellow allowed otherwise hair would have turned mud or green.) We split the job into two days – which I appreciated and highly recommend (if you feel comfortable having orange hair between appointments – which I didn’t mind because I knew that we were protecting the hair as much as possible while still giving me what I wanted.)I wanted to have some fun and dyed my hair different colors in the past – but by myself. This time, I decided to get it professionally done and I’m so happy I did.The staff was helpful and encouraging and introduced me with Susan, which was the perfect person for me to work with. Susan was excited and has the talent and skill to pull it off! And what a great job she did. My hair feels healthy and it’s super fun!Susan cut my hair expertly! I can’t tell you how many times people have cut my hair to make it look like a man’s cut instead of understanding the difference a female face needs. I told her about the tricks from previous hairstylist and she applied them versus having any ego about it – which was such a breath of fresh air.
