I had the opportunity to sit as a hair model for Julia as part of her training. She was AMAZING even in training (I’m sure they have a high bar for who they accept) and David, the owner, was present and providing input throughout (and demonstrating techniques at different points as well). He is a TRUE genius–a real artist, and great teacher (I’m a former teacher myself, and even though this is hair and not K-12, a good instructor is a good instructor). I literally had no idea that so many factors could go into a good cut, but they were extremely well versed. Makes me kind of scared to go anywhere else now, honestly!

Loved my masseuse, Patricia. I scheduled a Hot Stone Massage and it was the best one I have done. She asked along the way about the pressure and made the stones were the right temp for me. I was having back issues and she worked on those areas thoroughly. The facilities were very high class, I was able to shower off the oil and they had a great locker room and separate room to relax after. I highly recommend this place and Patricia.

Very negative experience at the Peddler’s Village salon. I knew they sold Halo Couture hair extensions so I called and asked if they carried the specific one that I wanted to try on, and was told yes. I made an appt. to try it on but when I met with the stylist I was told that they didn’t carry that one. I had to pay a $15 fee for the “try on” when I arrived, and then I was told that they did not carry what I specifically asked prior to making an apt. I asked for my $15 back since I was told they did carry it and was refused a refund. I was given a $15 gift card instead which stinks because I would never step foot in that salon since they would not make good on what was the receptionists misinformation. They preferred to keep it my loss, and their gain over just $15, major turn off.
