I absolutely loved my first time experience here. I did go in before my appt date to get an evaluation on my hair to determine what we can do to maintain my hair in good shape and I highly recommend you do that. Once my appt date arrived I was so excited since it happened to be my birthday too and the options and design we decided upon were exactly what I got. David is very good at talking with u about what exactly u want and he will give his honest opinion if that is something right for u or not. Some ppl may take his opinion the wrong way but they shouldn’t, he’s the artist and knows more than u. Now, I did read some bad reviews and I’m sorry for those that had a bad experience or didn’t get what they asked for but I believe he offers his opinion and if u don’t take his opinion or take care of ur hair the way they suggest that’s ur problem. My appt was with David and his 2 assistants and I was told David will be working on my hair but will step away from time to time to tend to other clients and I was fine with that because If he has an assistant its because he trusts them. He did step away but would come by to check on my progress and would tell the assistants what to do next and how to do it, don’t get me wrong his assistants Esther and Elizabeth are awesome and deserve major credit too but he stays on top to make sure his vision is being done right. I have never been treated so well at a salon and had so much attention to make sure my hair wasn’t damaged, I highly recommend this place to get a major makeover and a nice experience. I do recommend u listen to his suggestions in order to make sure u leave with healthy hair and maintain healthy hair. I walked in with natural black hair that had not been dyed in over 2 years and walked out with blonde hair in moderation of course and my hair is healthy. I am following all their suggestions to care for my hair and blonde hair is a job to maintain but worth it. My friends and family love my hair.
