Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityTook my wife for a trim and David (owner) took care of her. We only wanted a trim. Everything he used was dirty, hair everywhere and very unprofessional. Used 3 different sprays on her even though we did not ask for styling. He charged me $85 for nothing, just a lot of talking advice. Could not work the credit card machine and wrote the info down from my card. A week later I got a call from a detective saying that the guy could not charge my card for some reason and he filed a report. Took my wife for a trim and David (owner) took care of her. We only wanted a trim. Everything he used was dirty, hair everywhere and very unprofessional. SAUDI CONSULATE
We decided to cut our son’s hair and we found David Alan Salon, we went there without a reservation but they were kind to accommodate us. Philip was the guy who did my son’s hair and let me tell you he is the real deal! Kids and specially toddlers can be pain in the butt to work with, but Philip did a tremendous job! I highly recommend David Alan, and if you wanna cut your kid’s hair, make sure that Philip is working! Oh did I mention they have Netflix for your little one? 5/5

Just had a cut and color today. Between Alma and Nila my hair is in beautiful condition! So glossy and smooth with a fantastic cut. Great experience! We chatted and laughed throughout my entire appointment!

Just got haircut from Nila at David Alan. She is not only very talented but a very easy going person to deal with. In fact, she has rescued my hair from a barbarian Edward Scissorhand type choppers (haircutters ?) in Hackensack. If you want a professional NYC top grade haircut go to David Alan’s and ask for Nila.

David is an excellent stylist, rare to find these days. David took his time to define the best hairstyle for me and he nailed it which I knew he would when I saw the style he gave a client before me. My hair was a mess and he let me know that too. The staff was very courteous. I am so pleased with this salon. The salon is undergoing some renovation but with David’s style and decor, we are for a great treat! David is extremely personable. I greatly recommend this salon.

It’s a very spacious salon. I got a coupon for a coloring, cut and style – $75. They offer manicure/pedicure. Facials, waxing. The owner was there- he looked like an old timer from the 60s fashion movies. Overall – was very pleased.
