I’ve been coming to Davi off and on for the past 8 plus years because they have always been the best at doing my pedicures. Last Friday I needed my nails done because I couldn’t get a spot at my usual place so I decided to go to Davi…first thing I noticed was the entire staff was different. I have my own speculations on that but that’s another time. Anyway, long story short the girl doing my nails was ALL over the place moving super fast as if she was an expert and could do that…um no. As she was doing my SNS she didn’t even finish the dipping process when she told someone that walked in to come back in exactly 10 min so she could do her lashes? keep in mind she is still doing my nails and would have to rush through mines to be done in that time. When the lady came back she told me she would come back and put the oil on after she finished the lady lashes!!!? I have had SNS before and it seemed like the steps she was doing was off, also I didn’t get a cuticle treatment or any other part of the “manicure”…it was more like a polish change. After sitting at the dryer forever and just over it all constantly looking at my ugly nails, I started to put on my coat when she shouted to another woman to put the oil on my nails. SMH take a look at my pics.You can see the top coat distorted my nail texture and left scrape like indentions. Another manicurist told me she didn’t do the steps right and shouldn’t have wet my nails at that point. This was the fastest I’ve had my nails “done” and the worst they’ve ever looked. I wanted to complain right then and there and just say take it all off but I was exhausted from a long week and just took the L. I will never come here again. I went across the parking lot to that place next to subway to get my feet done yesterday and they will be my go to now for drop ins.

They sold me Gel nails, but in reality they only work with acrylic nails, they call it Gel Powder, which is the same as acrylic. Their jars do not have any labels in them. My gel powder is growing some dark spots in them. I would definitely stay away from this place

Update: I came for a pedicure service was fine didn’t mind soaking while I waited I actually prefer to soak before pedicure I have not been here since end of 2019 prior to that I was a customer of 5 + year [I miss you Tom and Lena!] only thing I would strongly suggest is if you are out of milky white gel polish say so and let ME [the paying customer] decide if I still want white or not. DON’T wait until I point out the difference after youve painted all toes on my left foot because if I wanted to look like I had White-Out on my toes i would have said so there is definitely a difference between the two. if I’m going to pay my money for something I should get to decide you can’t just assume. you look @ polish all day you know there is a difference

Critical: Professionalism, QualityMy daughter and I went to get a pedicure and manicure. The lady had us set at the bowel. I over heard her tell another person they needed to get a gel polish. The lady was told that the machine use to dry your nails and toes was broke. The lady told me the same but she had started on my feet. The lady at the shop that works there told the customer she had quick dry when she asked her. Employee later told me they did not have any quick dry and I should get gel. I did not get it becouse it cost 10 more dollars. My nails are aweful never again. Came back to get them fixed and the same lady who did them tells me to wait an hour to have 2 nails fixed. Very unhappy with the level of service they are providing. Will not be back after these nails are fixed by anther tech of course!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!! They don’t deserve ANY STARS….Got a full set last week and both thumbs are coming off.
