I’ve gone here for almost 10 yrs and want to say that this review is ONLY for the new tech who did my powder gel nails today around 10 AM. I really like Dash, and when I go, I know what to expect. Gel powder requires a white base coat 1st before the addition of multiple powder gel coats. I notice workers here typically do both hands together, rather than doing one hand at a time from start to finish, maybe to ensure a proper, even finish without missing anything.

I was visiting Stamford from out of town and decided to get my nails down here as it was recommended to me. I typically get Gel X, but it was not offered so I went with UV Gel instead with a simple nail design. The process took about 2 hours (an hour more than I’m used to) so I was ready to leave the moment it was done without carefully looking at my nails. The woman doing my nails assured me I could come back within 2 weeks if I was unhappy with anything and they’d fix it for free. After leaving I noticed the design was actually not up to par after spending $90+. I called the next day and asked if I could come in for a polish change and was told yes. When I arrived the following day and explained everything they told me it would be an additional $30 to make the changes. I explained that wasn’t what I was told previously and they said it’s only free if I had broken nails which I did not. Overall I’m very disappointed with the service for the amount of money I paid for. Take this as a lesson to never leave the salon without properly inspecting your nails are up to your satisfaction.

Won’t go again. I had them take my nails off and do a fresh manicure. The polish job was horrible. Went to another nail place to get a manicure and they informed me and showed me that I still had acrylic on my nails from when I asked dash to take them off. No wonder the polish looked horrible. And they tried to put three coats in n to make it look good.

Everyone there is very kind and I’m out in less than an hour. They talk to their clients and make you feel welcome. They’re very clean and sanitize everything! They really take the time to get to know people and their clients. Very welcoming and they do a great job on gel manicures and regular pedicures (That’s all I’ve done there so far). This is without a doubt the BEST set of nails I’ve ever had. Esther did an incredible job and provided so much attention to detail every step of the way. I am so excited to have finally found a place that does this great of work!!! Totally worth the price (which is super comparable to other salons in the area) and just extremely impressed overall. I have been going to Dash for almost 6 years now. I go specifically to Jenny, who is awesome and does a great job, and I am typically out within 45 minutes. Everyone is so friendly and it’s honestly the best place in Stamford to get your nails done! Prices are fair and the staff is always accommodating.
