Okay! I attempted to trim my 2 year old son’s hair whom is non verbal and I of course made it look like a nightmare. My brother and I took him to town to find a place that might be able to help. I want to scream from the mountain top about my wonderful experience at Darrells barbershop. Chris most specifically. First like zero wait time. It took longer for me to figure out how to say what I was wanting. She described dos and I told her basically please don’t make it look like I butchered it. I told her he was my special guy; meaning he is on the spectrum and autistic and has never had a hair cut. She let him feel the vibration of the clippers, knowing he wouldn’t respond she still took the time to talk to him and help keep him calm. She worked fast but not rushed. It was a quick, professional experience and she made time to talk to us and him about what would happen if he started having a melt down. She made even getting water sprayed on his hair fun! Oh and it was a lot cheaper than I thought it was going to be. I was just amazed and speechless by the experience we had today and I one thousand percent will return and recommend everyone I know to her/Darrells! I was so afraid walking in and was so happy and relieved after walking out less then 20 minutes later!! Chris I hope you see this and know how happy you made this mom!! ❤️

Cash only! Looks like an old school barber shop, but the barbers working when I was in were two young ladies. I got a great cut, she even trimmed my eyebrows, lol. The price is beyond reasonable. Comfortable waiting area with a table to play checkers on, but I didn’t get to try it out because there was no waiting when I got there. They are fast! I was in and out in 15 minutes.
