I couldn’t have asked for a better first tattoo experience. The shop was very clean, and all around very helpful for me to navigate the world of tattooing for the first time. I was tattooed by Cat – the artwork was so beautiful and, I am very happy with my design! At first, I wanted a design that was not necessarily possible, given the size of my arm. Cat let me know, and from there we decided on a tiger tattoo. I really appreciate her patience and understanding for me not knowing what I was really doing.

This entire experience was so healing for my soul. HUGE MAD LOVE to Cat for posting the original design and taking me through an amazing experience from start to finish. If you want ink, you NEED to go see her. 10/10 HIGHLY recommend. My heart is so happy. This arm piece took 4 hours, but Cat made it feel like half that. I will tell everyone I know to call Dark Horse when they need work done. Wish there were more stars to give!

My artist was Maurice “Reese” James. He was awesome. It was my first tattoo and I was there for 8hrs due to the size and detail. His work was unbelievable. It turned out even better than I could have imagined due to his creativity and artistic ability. Not only that but he made the whole process easy and enjoyable with his chill demeanor. Where to begin. This place is amazing. The professionalism, cleanliness and quality of work is amazing. I went in for my first big tattoo with Cat. Cat was amazing with my design and worked fast and efficiently while making sure I left with an amazing piece. She was also extremely professional and really worked with my schedule to try and get me in. Since I’ve left here, I’ve been stopped countless times by people asking who did this and where I went. Everyone is amazed at the high level quality of the work. This is definitely where I will go for any other tattoos I get in the future no doubt.
