I was a client at this salon for ten years. A few days before my wedding day, I asked Irma if she could do my hair because the hair stylist canceled. I told her the time, it was in the morning I needed my hair done. She told me she to confirm if she can’t make it and if not, she would be there because it was an important day, she would not leave me hanging in a moment like this. Well, I lost trust in Irma after 10 years of giving Dario’s business as a client because she texted me the day before saying she will not make it because it’s too early in the morning (6:30am). I ended up having to tie my hair in a ponytail myself for my WEDDING day. After ten years of being a client, on one of the most important events, Dario’s was not reliable. Not only did that hurt personally, but now I know they really don’t care about their clients. She won’t ever see me there again.

Third time was the charm for not returning back. Had an apt, 4 hrs later left with a wet hair and not the highlights I requested. The owner kept taking in clients and kept getting behind on my hair. The results .. and over processed treatment after paying $150 for just blond hair on top of my head and not highlight’s that I requested. The owner did not acknowledge my concerns and unhappiness about my hair when texted her. Not worth your money or time. Stay away from this place!

This salon is newly renovated. Clean look outside and in. Front desk staff member is not hospitable. Not knowledgeable in estimating wait times.The styling team is good. I must say the get distracted easily with walk-ins and will stop what they’re doing to attend said person(s). Prices are very reasonable for a simple cut and blow dry ($20) .

I highly recommend Dario’s Salon & Spa. I was visiting my son in Orlando and wanted to get my hair cut. I hadn’t taken care of my hair or cut it for over a year, and the beach made it unbearable. I called and they got me in the same day – and close to closing time for them. I was greeted kindly, treated as if I was family and my hair….absolutely gorgeous. Irma did an amazing job. Critical: ProfessionalismWent there yesterday and this elderly lady named Isabel attended me. She kept getting the comb brush in my piercing and I moved so she could realize what she’s doing, then she said “ah, no sabía” and she continued to do it until it got stuck. Then she’s cutting my bangs and I tell her not to cut them short and she does anyway. She’s doing my hair and I see she’s curling it and I’m like what the hell? I tell her “yo no quiero que me hagas esto” but she INSISTS. My hair came out terrible. I’m not the type of person to speak up until I went to the front desk and was charged 50$!!! Over my dead body, I was like 50$? They said because of the curls…Who the hell…I never asked for that. They charged me 40$ instead and gave me a number to text. Mona is the best eyebrow lady I have ever had. My eyebrows were always tricky, but she takes the time to get them the right shape for you. I went to a lot of different salons before finding her and nothing compares to her work. She also texts you the days she won’t be at work so you can work around that. 10/10 recommendation. Give her a try!
