As someone who moves around every 4 years or so, I had many a haircuts in different places from dozens of different barbers. When I came to Madison last year, I was in need of a barber. Not knowing where to go, I first went to a salon close to where I lived (BIG mistake – the woman was so nervous cutting the hair, she couldn’t do a fade and I left mid haircut.) I went to a few other places with highly rated barbers in madison, which I thought were decent, but recently decided to switch to Dapper Broc’s (Matthew’s) barbershop located in the basement floor of a hotel close to the State Capitol (FYI, there’s tons of street parking with meters, so there’s never an issue, and there’s a starbucks in the hotel that closes at 2pm.) And I think I’ve found the holy grail of barbers in Madison.
