While I was going to Dang Nails for 6 months regularly (every two- three weeks for fill ins), I was singing the praises of the staff and how good they were. Well on Friday, I called to make an appointment beforehand to make sure I could get in. We agreed on 3:45 as the appointment time. I got to the salon under 10 minutes late- at around 3:52 so about 7 minutes late. Within that time, Steven gave away my appointment to a walk in. There was no grace period just in case I was a few minutes late, instead I was told I needed to wait almost a hour behind another lady who was a walk in and didn’t make an appointment. He talked to me that day, knew I was coming, but gave my appointment away as if i hadn’t been a returning and loyal customer. If the goal is quantity over quality, they’re doing great, but if you want someone who appreciates you and your time, go somewhere else- luckily for me there’s nail salons on every corner who will gladly take my business.

I am very upset about my experience with Dang nails. I had 3 different people working on my nails. I did my best to be understanding and did not complain once. I asked them for coffin shape and got square nails. I also asked for clear on the acrylic and got a pink tint. I asked for two hearts on my ring fingers and they are two separate sizes. I showed every single person that worked on my nails the picture which clearly showed exactly what i want. I even told the lady while she was shaping my nails to make them skinnier and she did not. They left shavings on my nails so the top layer is dumpy. And the whole experience took about 3 hours. A simple set and the shortest pedicure. worst place i’ve ever been to, and do NOT recommend ever going here. I have never been more insecure over my nails.

Sadly disappointed. The tech on my feet did a good job. My gel nails were a total disappointment. First complaint, tech soaked my nails in what I thought was a conditioner or cuticle softener. No it turned out to be straight acetone! My skin was almost burned for days! Plus tech did not remove all of my old gel polish so it was bumpy and rough when she put on new gel. Oh well. Never coming back here.

Let’s just say it was not worth $35 plus tip . 1st observance no price menu , and the tech questioned my child and asked her how old she is before giving me the total price. The quality of work is not of a professional nail tech. I will take my business else where .
