I found this salon when I was visiting LA while living in Palm Springs. I called and the owner, Shari, got back with me right away for an appointment. After the first time, I continued to come up from Palm Springs to get my hair done because yes, she’s that great! 🙂 I’ve since moved to the area, and still go here for regular cuts and bayalage touch ups. I’m always happy with the results, as well as the service. It is a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and I always leave in good spirits with a good cut and style. Definitely recommend this salon.

I was able to make a spur of the moment hair appointment with Lan today and I’m beyond thankful that I did! I have hair about an inch below my ears. Grown out hair color that I was trying to take from warm blonde to a bright, cool blonde. I was also growing out hair from having very short hair cuts for some time and didn’t have much of a hairstyle. I have not used a hair dryer in about a week, my hair was frizzy and a complete mess to be honest. The reason why that is important is because it is amazing for me to think of what I looked like when I met Lan, that she has never seen me with styled hair, and yet she was able to turn out an amazing hair style and color. I was beyond pleased with my hair, everything turned out just as I wanted, even beyond. Lan was so thoughtful in how she listened to me, and thorough in how she herself evaluated my hair. She offered her opinions and then delivered. She was able to take her time and I never felt like she was rushing me along I could not recommend Lan and Dandelion Hair Salon more. I am very much looking forward to my return visit with Lan!
