Son has been styling hair beginning in 80s with over 20 years styling in the Olympia area. He specializes in styling men, women and kids cuts. He also performs beard trims and the salon offers eyebrow waxing and perms. A great ma and pop shop if you ever need a good cut, Son takes pride in making sure you look pristine when you leave DK Hair.

After my appointment, I’m surprised by all the good reviews. I waited a long time, he did not wash or style my hair at all, he was interrupted many times to answer the phone (only one there), and the most disappointing thing was that I asked for a much shorter haircut than I got. When his next appointment showed up, they were apologized to for having to wait and it felt like he was frustrated with my long hair so he stopped and didn’t ask if that was what I wanted or if I was happy with the result. I called back about an hour later saying that I would like to come back in for more length taken off and they said I’d need to pay another $40 (plus the 20% tip I left) for a whole new cut. Will just go to SuperCuts for that kind of service. Huge bummer, as I’d rather support a smaller local place near my house.

$40 haircut for $15! I’m so glad I walked into DK for a haircut. Always consistent and always quality down to the last follicle. I can close my eyes and relax to open them to a great haircut. Very professional and clean salon, never have to wait long and scheduling is done with a simple quick phone call. I’d highly recommend DK to anyone.

Yesterday, at I had my hair cut by Sun, which I’ve been doing for at least 2-3 years now, every couple of months. My hair is very thick and straight. If a hair stylist makes a jag or a mistake in my hair, it’s very apparent. I always have had issues finding people who could cut my hair correctly without jags or obvious lines. Sun is one of the best hair stylist in the business. Friendly, nice and professional too. So what are you waiting for!!! Get your hair stylied by the best!!! D. K. Salon BABY!! I HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE HERE!!! His wife and him are literally the nicest people! i showed him a picture and my hair looks PERFECT!!! It was a very edgy short bowl cut and Son nailed it. I have a really weird style and have been trying every hair professional in town and he’s the only one who listened and asked me if what was happening was what I pictured! I will be going there from now on.
