Not a good place at all. None of my nails are the same length or shape. Half of my tips are painted and the other half are either splotchy or not painted at all. The lady would interrupt me before I could tell her what I wanted. She ended up doing what she wanted. When I said they were too long, she complained that she would have to trim them down after the acrylic was on. She got mad when I pointed out that they aren’t the same shape. I finally had to use the file myself and then she told me to let her try again. I stated that I wanted them thin and natural looking. Too bad! They look like I let a child apply Lee Press Ons and then glob paint over that. She made sure to tell me multiple times that I should find someone else that I like and go to them. She made it very clear that I shouldn’t come back to her. There is still polish on my fingers from what was on them when I came in and now there’s polish that she got on my skin. This is all after I had to ask her to fill in the stripes down the side where she didn’t even paint. She cut my cuticle and then proceeded to use the same top coat that she’ll use on someone else without cleaning the blood or doing anything about the cut. She refunded some of my money and told me to go give it to someone else to fix my nails. Thay might have to happen tomorrow as two of them feel like they’re already about to come off. I’m so disappointed in the quality and the very rude way she spoke to me. I won’t go back and I suggest you also skip this place.

What an amazing experience! The service was phenomenal! The Establishment was well kept and Mrs D made you feel like family. Great prices, actually, the best in town. Sweet ppl, Pretty gel color, but the shape of my nails are horrible and you can see bubbles of acrylic that wasn’t properly filed! I’ve been having a lot of lift and I just got them done… The owners are nice but they really rush through the job to get to the next person. I’ve never had a full acrylic set done completely in 10 minutes! (I noticed the time) Everyone likes speedy service, but not if my nails aren’t going to be right! The guy that did my pedicure really didn’t scrub my feet the way they needed. I had to go back over them with a pumas bar later that night. And my toe wasn’t completely polished. One whole side of my toe has no polish and you can see traces of pink from my last polish! Overall it wasn’t worth what I paid and I’m not satisfied. I think its safe to say I won’t return.

It was a rush job the two times that I tried giving this salon a chance. Both times I was the only customer. It was a hassle to get 2 coats of polish and my toe nails weren’t completely covered with the polish. My acrylics broke and lifted within a week..and I work behind a desk. They were nice people, but their work isn’t great.

Ignore Christine Pease’s review. D&D is the best salon along the 280 corridor. Do yourself a favor and walk in for a mani-pedi. I have been a customer at D&D Nails for 15 years and have always been very happy with the finished product and the service. I can attest to the untruth of Christine’s statements. I can’t say enough good things about the owners, Cathy & Tom, and their many longtime customers, top of the line massage chairs, gorgeous manicures. The staff is small but excellent, and you won’t mind an occasional slight wait, it’s worth it! This is the place for those who are particular about their nails, so go!!
