I visited Cypress Salon today for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The whole place is so pretty and smells great. They gave me some tasty tea while I waited, and my hairdresser, Daniel, was absolutely fantastic. I was getting some layers done and was nervous about it (I’ve only had one hairstyle my whole life) and he was very patient and explained the whole process to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. My hair turned out great! I’d highly recommend Daniel- not only does he do a wonderful job, but he is also so sweet and kind.

I absolutely loved Cypress. My stylist Daniel was so kind and thorough. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and offered suggestions to make sure I would get the results I desired. My hair looks exactly how I wanted it to and smells wonderful. They offer you hot tea while waiting which was perfect for today since it was pouring outside. I walked out so happy with my hair and so relaxed—just what I needed. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Wow! Daniel Penn did an amazing job. This was my first visit and I will definitely be back. My hair has never had this much shine and body. But then again I would not expect anything less with the stylist who trained in a French styling academy. I have finally found a hairstylist who is great at coloring, styling and has a great personality.

I recently moved to Holly Springs, searched for an Aveda salon, and found Cypress Salon & Spa. It’s a beautiful space tucked in a nice live/work center. I have had the same hair stylist for years, so was a little nervous about seeing someone new. But there was nothing to worry about. Daniel, the stylist I saw, did a great job with my color. When we got to the trimming and styling part of the appointment, he listened to my input, had some great ideas of his own, and explained everything he was doing as he went along. I was very pleased with how my hair turned out. I would recommend Cypress Salon and Daniel to anyone looking for a salon that gives great service.

I’ve gone to Daniel Penn several times now for a haircut and color and he’s been exceptional every single time. Daniel takes the time to ask what you are looking for and does a masterful job making that happen. I have short, thick hair that grows quickly and Daniel always gives me a haircut that looks great and on trend. My color has never been better and my haircuts are exactly what I was looking for every single time. On top of the excellent work Daniel does, I always enjoy my conversations with him along the way! I highly recommend him if you are looking for a great stylist!

Megan has cut my hair a few times and every time I am happier than I expected to be. She does an amazing job of listening to what you want and working with your hair type and facial structure to make the cut fit for you. She considers how much styling you are willing to do at home, and what will realistically fit into your routine so that you can love your cut everyday, not just when you leave the salon. The salon itself is relaxing and enjoyable to be in.

Not only is this such a beautiful salon, but the people make it such a comfortable, relaxing environment. I have always been blonde, but unfortunately I dyed my hair brown, on my own, one day and RUINED it. Daniel, the senior stylist literally is a magician. He blended beautiful highlights throughout my hair and lightened the color without destroying or frying any of my hair. He took his time and literally watched my hair through the whole process to make sure my hair didn’t fry. His main concern was the integrity of my hair. I LOVE that. And I LOVE him! I can’t wait to go back to him. Totally recommend this salon to anyone.
