Came to Lexington for a college graduation and needed my hair done. So happy to have found The Cutting Edge. Olivia washed and styled my hair in curls and did a wonderful job. She was so easy to work with and listened to exactly what I wanted. Diana the owner is very sweet and knowledgeable. If you’re not getting your hair done here, then you should question your life decisions more often. The people here treated me like family. Taking into consideration my daily life for a haircut, meticulous and perfectionist like work ethic, making me feel warm and welcome, exceptional customer service, and even what felt like a therapy session.. I could go on and on about just how well I was treated here. This place feels like home, and will be where I return for haircuts from now on. Take my word for it and stop by, or don’t and miss out on not just a haircut, but an entire experience.

This is an experienced stylist who is patient, listens and truly understands the chemistry of hair color. She is not robotic and mathematical in her color work. She is an artist aNd a scientist. She understands the chemistry behind color mixing to get your hair to grab onto the color and hold it. She takes her time and doesn’t rush color processing like so many less experienced colorists do. I totally recommend her.
